How Dumb Do You Think I Am?

We don’t have all the specifics. But it is pretty apparent that Obama’s “deal” on contraceptives is a trick.

As to Catholic institutions, Catholic hospitals and universities would pay insurance companies premiums, which would pay for contraceptives and abortifacients. Evil doesn’t become good because it’s laundered through a third party.

But, says HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, premiums would go down because, inter alia, you would not have to provide health services to those pesky babies who would have been born, had you not aborted them.

But if this was a theological defense, it would have applied, whether or not contraceptives and abortifacients were specified in the insurance policy.

Incidentally, the 98-99% contraception usage figure which is being thrown about unchallenged? It is from the virulently pro-abortion Alan Guttmacher Institute.

Finally, what about individual Catholic or fundamentalist or other employers who have religious objections to abortions and contraceptives? The “deal” would throw them under the bus.

Unlike some in the Catholic hierarchy, I vigorously fought against ObamaCare and predicted the abortion-related problems they are now facing. Am I now to go to prison for exercising my conscience? And does the First Amendment apply any less to my religious beliefs.

This insurance is supposed to cover abortions and medicines that cause abortions. Catholic and other religious hospitals would also be expected to provide abortions to patients. Obama and his 850 White Hut staffers considers this to be a woman’s preventive health. What nonsense.

America is on its last legs and the mountains of idiocy churned out by this White Hut and the accomplices in the Senate do nothing but to accelerate the bitter end of a Republic!

Many Catholic and Lutheran entities are self-insured. Obama would still be forcing them to pay for the killing of the unborn with the morning after pill. This is his “compromise.”

“Obama’s “deal” on contraceptives is a trick.”

_____________________________________________________

It’s more than a mere trick. It’s an outright LIE.

“Despite what President Obama said at his White House press conference, the actual regulations make permanent the “interim final regulations” issued August 3, 2011 — the ones that sparked the furor in the first place.

...The bottom line is this: “Accordingly, the amendment to the interim final rule with comment period amending 45 CFR 147.130(a)(1)(iv) which was published in the Federal Register at 76 FR 46621-46626 on August 3, 2011, is adopted as a final rule without change.” [Emphasis added.]

Translation: The Obama administration FRIDAY AFTERNOON put into federal law the very regulation that drew objections from almost 200 Catholic bishops, some 50 religiously affiliated colleges and universities, 65 North American bishops of Orthodox churches, numerous other Jewish, Evangelical and Lutheran leaders, and even some liberals — and without changing so much as a comma.”

Of course, the press is not saying anything about this.

> The Catholic Bishops v. Obama

The Catholic Bishops cannot be taken seriously until they publicly excommunicate every politician that openly supports abortion, birth control, and homosexuality in defiance of their bishop’s correction to the contrary.

And the Pope cannot be taken seriously until he starts replacing American bishops who refuse to discharge their responsibilities in this matter with bishops who will.

Constitutionally, what gives him the right to make any mandate on the citizens of America?

He is a dictator.

America is only on its last legs if we continue to sleep and leave the current 8A residents of 1600 PA Ave in place. Personally, I think they just jumped the shark with this issue. They’re farther left than even a far left Church on this. Even the bishops are stirring from their slumbers. The only downside is the riots that will engulf the inner cities when The Massiah gets tossed out of office.

That's the heart of the matter and too many people are overlooking it. Health care is not the business of the president of the United States. It isn't his function; his job description is clearly set out by the Constitution.

This is not about abortion. It isn’t about healthcare. It is a full scale, all out attack on the Bill of Rights one by one. It is an attack on our FREEDOM. Period.
The abortion issue is a thin veneer just like trying to blame the violence in Mexico on US is an excuse for an all out attack on the Second Amendment.

Freedom of Speech, Press, Religion and Petition

Right to keep and bear arms

Conditions for quarters of soldiers

Right of search and seizure regulated

Provisons concerning prosecution

Right to a speedy trial, witnesses, etc.

Right to a trial by jury

Excessive bail, cruel punishment

Rule of construction of Constitution

Rights of the States under Constitution

WHICH of these Amendments haven’t they tampered with, attacked, or ignored?
They throw out all these red herrings and we go swimming after them like a school of fish. In the meantime, the sharks are gathering out of our sight waiting to swallow us whole.

Reminds me of the old joke about the banquet, with the punchline: "You should have stopped me at the dinner roll."

Government is out of control. Has been for a long time. Some folks have just taken longer to see it.

-——This is not about abortion.——

Perhaps it should be. Perhaps the concept of abortion should be reconsidered in a different light.

Consider the concept of post birth abortion, very late post birth abortion. Apply that thought to conditions that are troubling.

There is only one way to look at abortion. Abortion is murder. There is no concept to it. Others can nuance it and rationalize it any way they want to. It is an absolute. Abortion is murder. It deprives innocent children of their most basic, most important human right. Life.
What you are insinuating is that ‘very late post abortion’ can be summed up as murder. There is a time for all things. A time to kill. And it comes whether we want it to or not. That is not abortion. It is war. And it is coming.

I've been frequently put in mind, in this discussion, of the epilogue to the movie "A.I." - thanks to the convenience of "David" and "Darla" robots offering all the pleasures of having children with none of the hassles, the human race has gone extinct, leaving behind only the robots to search through the ice-age wasteland to find clues about the lives their creators.

The Catholic Bishops cannot be taken seriously until they publicly excommunicate every politician that openly supports the death penalty, too, right? Between pols who support abortion rights, and pols who support the death penalty, that pretty much covers all of them.

How dumb does he think we are? The question is, how dumb are the swing voters, not us who would never vote for him anyway.

She could go around, wearing a bumper sticker: “Kill babies! It’s cheaper!”

It amazes me how liberals can justify and kill the most innocent of human life without hesitation, but defend the lives of the proven most evil of humans.

Killing in and of itself is not wrong. We have to kill animals for food, mercy, and humans in wars, self defense, and to put down evil, even through our legal system.
But when the innocent human is killed, and thus the term ‘murder’ is used, the morality of the act has to be accounted for.

Liberals are blind to this distinction.

How Dumb Do You Think I Am?

Well, considering that the foreign marxist, muslim, usurper received 59 million votes in '08 and after his destruction of The Country for three years, he has not been challenged by congress, or the courts and he still has rabid defenders and supporters, the answer appears to be somewhere below that of a moron.

I pray every day that America will wake up before it is too late.

A birth in it’s final stages takes what? A few minutes? Seconds? And in that time the intentional termination of human life goes from “abortion” and a mother’s right, to infanticide and a high crime.

Twisted.
