If Sarah Palin had been on the ballot for the straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference, there is little doubt she would have won.
The former Alaska governor received far-and-away the most spirited and enthusiastic reception at this convention of about 10,000 conservative activists.
She drew the audience to its feet more than a dozen times during her keynote address on Saturday.
If only she could win a brokered convention. It’ll never happen.
Of course she did. She’s our darling.
Nope. It'll never happen. Kind of as shame.
In a political world where everyone, Democrat and Republican, claims to be Ronald Reagan reprised, she might be the one who could pull it off.
She also might ne able to lead.
CPAC is officially irrelevant so who cares .. Romney won the CPAC caucus vote (according to Drudge)... WTF is wrong with those people if the love Romney they can’t be conservative I just don’t get it.......
I don’t know. Newt was pretty close.
‘Win The Future’ Palin has pulled another one on the cruds.
They think they have something on her. They are again looking like the dumbazzes they are.
If only she could win a brokered convention. Itll never happen.
Sarah was fantastic! I’m watching it again on C-SPAN now.
Didn’t Ron Paul win it last year? I think they have the wackos running the concession booths voting in these polls.
Okay, its time for the Rats to dispatch another division of lawyers and journ-o-lists to Alaska to invade Sarah’s garbage cans! Hurry, Brian Williams and co. can’t wait to breathlessly report on whatever greasy old banana peels that might be uncovered. lol
Don’t be so pessimistic. It’s not that hard, and with every vacillation in the polls, it gets easier.
“If only she could win a brokered convention. Itll never happen.”
Of course she can. Fight for it and make it happen.
Maybe — you never know.
She puts it all in one package.
She officially kicked ass today. It was good to hear her, again, on fire.
She speaks for me!
"It's not that we are too big to fail...we are too big to succeed!"
Romney bussed in a big crowd yesterday. Students who filled the hall, did their straw poll vote and headed back out the door. Santorum clearly had the biggest following this week. All three did well in their speech. Romney went conservative and hit social issues. Newt was great, but seems to have lost his momentum with the base.
Romney’s not the first to do this bussing. Paul did it the previous two years and other in years past. I am noting because it impacted the outcome of the straw poll.
She is going to lead the tea party....it took Reagan..sixteen years after his Goldwater speech..the media thinks they have killed her....she will have nine lives..
stuffing ballot boxes, spending tens of millions to generate slime... I will write in Sarah before I vote for Mittens.
