HEADS UP CPAC 2012 - Occupiers and Unions to Protest There
Keep your powder dry at CPAC this week and be ready. From past experience, when the anarchists know there will be push back, they change their plans.
In Oakland this past week the cowardly occupiers occupied places where they knew the police were not going to be around. Of course the police finally caught up to them and arrested 400.
If anyone has a good contact with the Metro police, you might give them a heads up. And let the Marriott and Omni hotels know that they may have unwanted people floating around making trouble. It is bad enough the paulbots are around, now we have these idiots.
From Twitter and with links:
You'd be wise to keep a cool head if you're going to CPAC. From the D.C. AFL-CIO:
Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)With workshops like Return of Big Labor: What Can We Learn from Wisconsin & Ohio, and Taking back Wall Street: The Tea Party vs. Occupy Wall Street, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) descends on the nations capital February 9-11 and local labor activists are planning a DC lesson to ensure that the voice of the 99% are heard at this elite conservative gathering. Actions are currently being planned for noontime and after work on Friday, February 10. Featured speakers at CPAC include Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, and presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum.
You may remember what the union-aided Occupiers managed to do at the D.C. conference center in November. When conservatives staged a conference there, they banged on the windows, physically harmed at least one old woman, blocked local traffic, and used children as human shields. Much of the action was caught on tape.
The AFL-CIO is planning a disruption of some sort at noon Friday and another at 5 p.m.
Here are some details about the event that AFL-CIO plans for noon: Where Marriott Wardman Park Hotel (2600 Woodley Rd at Connecticut Ave NW) When Feb 10 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm What do Wisconsin Governor SCOTT WALKER, presidential candidates MITT ROMNEY, NEWT GINGRICH, RICK SANTORUM and House Budget Committee Chair PAUL RYAN have in common?
They all represent the greed of the wealthy 1% and theyll all be at the 2012 Conservative Political Action Conference.
WEVE HEARD ENOUGH FROM THE 1%! Join the rally featuring tents, an inflatable fat cat, puppets, candidate Walmart, and more to LET THE VOICES OF THE 99% BE HEARD!
Friday, February 10, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel (2600 Woodley Rd at Connecticut Ave NW), by the Woodley Park Metro Station
Coordinated by the Metro Washington Council AFL-CIO
Willard’s coming? Wonder if he will get a true RINO reception or will he pack the hall like the McCainiac did four years ago?
Hire the Hell’s Angels like the Stones did... they can deal with this human refuse.
LLS
Heads up to attendees particularly when OUTSIDE the hotel—these Occupy types in particular are dangerous thugs. Unfortunately, the DC police HAVE NOT been doing their usual good job of protecting the law abiding public from them!
I’d suggest walking in groups and hiding your CPAC blue canvas bags with your conference materials. Be sure you registration name tags AREN’T visible!
It will be a lesson they will remember for a long time.
Perry speaks at CPAC on February 9th.....
WASHINGTON, DC The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced former Presidential candidate and Texas Governor Rick Perry will address CPAC 2012 the 39th annual Conservative Political Action Conference. Americas largest gathering of conservative leaders and activists will be held Thursday, February 9 Saturday, February 11, 2012, in Washington, DC. The ACU today also published online the full CPAC 2012 Agenda, now available at www.cpac.org.
Through an agenda built on tax and spending cuts and pro-growth policies, Governor Rick Perry has made Texas a leader in job creation and economic development while serving as a national voice for preserving states rights. We are honored to host Governor Perry at CPAC 2012, said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas.

DC Chapter Master Ping List
Keep your phone cameras at the ready for provocations, then decisively strike back.
Thanks, I should have pinged you the other day. I’m going to be at CPAC all three days so I’m keeping my eyes and ears open for any of these creeps (and the video camera close by).
I don’t think we will be able to come up there for CPAC this year——it’s just too far to drive at that time, and I plan to not ever board another plane..........
You think they’ll still work for 500 bucks worth of beer?
I read that CPAC did NOT invite Ron Paul this year. Its about time. Let the libertarians have their own convention.
We have friends who are concerned for us because we are elderly, but I told them not to worry. My sweetheart served in Nam and we are NOT going to let a bunch of America hateing idiots keep us from joining true patriots (like our Allen West) at CPAC. Looking forward to it, and we will do our best to be prepared for anything. Camera ready too.
If walking alone, good idea.
But I am getting tired of hiding or backing down like the Komen Foundation did. Just walk in groups and have your cameras ready. Citizen arrest sounds good.
Damn FR is slow tonight.
Just bring a ‘buddy’ with a video camera. It will take a lot to give them a lesson. They are not called “moonbats” for nothing.
Virginia and Maryland Freeper Ping. Hope more Freeper patriots can join us at CPAC!
Guess what you read is correct. Ron Paul is not listed in the speakers list, but Rand Paul will be speaking.
I hear you about flying. Luckily all our relatives are within 7 hour drive time. And being close to DC is convenient.
We are missed here in DC
