So , NFL & NBC Apologize to me? No M.I.A. needs to Apologize for herself on national TV spots!
So, NFL & NBC here is an "M.I.A." back at you.
MIA middle finger to us during the halftime show is pretty much reflective of what the newsroom of NBC,along with some at NBC Sport, has been doing to conservatives for 40 years or so.
Why should we be surprised.
Ain't that the truth.
There’s no such thing as bad publicity in the entertainment
industry.
Boy, it sure must be fun living around your house. Ever wonder why you've never been invited to a Super Bowl party?
She was born sorry and showed everybody last night just how sorry she is.......................
FWIW I’d like to see a marching band (s).
You sure about that statement?
"The Nielsen Co. said Monday that an estimated 111.3 million people watched the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots on Sunday night. That narrowly beat the 111 million who watched Green Bays win over Pittsburgh last year."
YOU may not have watched it but over 111.3 million others did. That's a lot of beer and chips and wings........
Yeah, but half-time is a good time to replenish snacks and such, visit the bathroom, take out the trash, look outside at the weather...etc.
There are a myriad of more interesting things to do than watch some washed-up “celebrity” showing the world what kind of idiot they are...*LOL*
The NFL knew ahead of time what she was like. Both her and Madonna. Of course the NFL wanted some sort of controversy and that’s what they got. Bought and paid for. BTW, it was the worse halftime performance ever.
Since you were busy replenishing the snacks, going to the bathroom, taking out the trash and looking out the window, by your own admission you did not watch the half-time show.
Since you did not see it, why do you feel you are qualified to comdemn something you did not observe?
I love the completely unbiased and objective comments of my fellow FReepers.........
How do you know, there was so much noise. Maybe it did it in time with the big bass pounding. And there was a lot of smoke/gas during the show.
Next year the NFL should just have a local HS marching band.
And look at the irony of this. Madonna has stated she wanted this to be the opportunity for her to make a comeback as a "family" type of entertainer. Instead everybody is talking about a minor ding-a-ling flipping the bird. So Madonna is still categorized with the smut and sleaze. I would love listen to her in private these last few hours. I think her language would be much worse than what MIA is supposed to have also said when flipping off the crowd.
I agree.
I simply shut down the sound during the half times, since I tune in to watch the game, not the BS.
On the other hand, watching my patsies lose, perhaps I have things inverted.
I didn’t watch it, but from the clips I saw, it looked like some sort of satanic mass.
These so-called entertainers perform under legal contract. The NFL lawyers should go to court against her contract violations. Further, the NFL should drop these stupid half-time shows that only distract from the championship game. Frankly, I’m sick of these ‘shows’.
The last several SuperBowl half time shows really sucked pondwater.
The performers were poorly organized, poorly rehearsed, not very well choreographed, singing 30 year old songs (lip-synching,..no singing), with incredibly incompetent dancing.
A few of the street performers had some potential, but they might as well have hired a couple of college kids juggling oranges for the talent displayed.
Madonna’s entrance looked like a gaggle of metrosexuals on xstal meth.
It is obvious somebody storyboarded the performance, and that is about as far as they got. They should’ve just stuck to a PC generated cartoon.
Top that off with insult upon insult to anybody’s presence, and they simply perform no socially redeeming value.
Why would anybody waste buying anything from NFL or their teams when this is the most the entire league can muster?
What a debacle.
