Good morning, all
“His team doesnt feel the need to take any chances.”
Agreed. After some of his statements in the last week or 2, they need to keep him underwraps, lest he make another gaffe that he has to walk back - you know, explain to people what he reallllly meant.
I don't care about the rich or the poor...equates to us working folks who fill the Washington coffers with our tax money.
Do you really think the Conservatives are going to fall for the token conservative on the ticket trick again? Look how they managed Palin’s message so she could never say anything and they will do it again.
That is just pandering.
Pray for America
Guy in FL is suing Gingrich Team for roughing him up for supporting another candidate.
lol
Sounds like FR at times.
-aniacs and bots can be vicious.
Morning Everyone, biscuit time!
Could be good!
Thanks for the thread Mr AB!
All true. He'd be good at managing the decline. Then he can sell off the remnants at a profit. He has the experience.
EXCELLANT ANALYSIS.
right to the point.
I got up close and personal with the campaign this election and yes many believe we have people in high places who would rather the Dems win. We certainly have leaders who undermined the Tea Party candidates.
Campaign managers get paid the same no matter what the outcome.
The good news is we are building a campaign program that works against the money people and may have shown some interesting results. The campaign even invited me on the stage for the concession speech. So a FReeper was touching the inner circle as I wore a T-Shirt in the Country Club.
Pray for America
Gingrich on Meet The Press-”Romney does not care about the poor, the unemployment figures are higher than they say. People simply quit looking. We will lose with a moderate candidate. We cannot manage Social Secuirty at the margins. Needs to be dramatically changed. Big difference in my plan for the poor compared with Romneys: Romney wants automatic increases in min. wage. I am for much bolder tax changes than he is. I have a 15 percent tax plan. Fill out one page. Bring govt. down to the revenue level.” Newt driving home the fact that the unemployment figures being put out are bogus. “Obama has ANTI-AMERICAN energy policy. His policies have consistently weakened this country! He has basically declared war on the Catholic church.”
Thanks AB!
Newt taking on Gregory...bitch slaps him down with logic and facts.
Gregory running SNL skit about Gingrich and lunar colony.
Newt slightly amused.
Not on the payroll, they ARE the DNC.
I don't like it any more that you do but here's the problem.
Newt had a huge victory in SC. At that time he needed 8 or 10 more huge donors like Sheldon Adelson. He needed big money guys who could dump 5 million at a time into his campaign coffers. For one reason or another they failed to materialize.
Absent millions to spend on advertising to solicit votes from the dumbest of voters Newt was destroyed in Fla. Is their any reason at all to think that same scenario won't be replayed over and over and over.
Newt's message, one he is giving right on on MTP and is brilliant is not heard by all. How many middle of the roaders, uninformed Republicans/NPA's who decide elections, are hearing his message?
Not enough.
It's just like Orly Taitz trying to go after the regime with no Mark Levin and without millions in her bank account. Things don't happen in a void. Everything happens for a reason. We are seeing that reason unfold before us. Am I unhappy that we don't have a Palin/Romney or Rubio/ Romney ticket? Dam right. Is there anything at all I can do about the unfolding of our current candidates at this point? I'm all ears.
That's why I call them RATagandists.
Absent a Palin or Rubio as VP I see little enthusiasm here should we get a Romney ticket.
JC Watts on Myths "I don't care about the poor" comment:
Watts said, (paraphrasing) Regarding the safetynet...Why do we have to judge compassion by how many people we have on food stamps, rather than how few people we have on food stamps?
