Absent a Palin or Rubio as VP I see little enthusiasm here should we get a Romney ticket.
JC Watts on Myths "I don't care about the poor" comment:
Watts said, (paraphrasing) Regarding the safetynet...Why do we have to judge compassion by how many people we have on food stamps, rather than how few people we have on food stamps?
I was minding my own business, watching This’ Weak with Stepinawfulpis, George Will et all campaigning for Myth and Obama, right up until Puffingtongue pop onto my screen an spoke her first word....
Changed the channel immediately.
Rubio supported the SOPA/PIPA bill (before he was against it strictly as a result of the massive public outcry). I have no interest in Rubio and if there’s one thing I disagree with Newt on, it’s his suggestion that Rubio would be his V.P. At the very least we need more time to see if he holds up to Tea Party values. In at least this case he shilled for corporate interests over constitutional freedom.
