What's with these talking heads, Ann Coulter especially, and their vitriol against Newt? I've always liked Ann, she is SO conservative; now she's pitching for Romney and slamming -- really slamming -- Newt. I don't get it.
Imus BTW hates -- really hates, I know that hating is his shtick but he really hates -- Gingrich and my guess is that he likely will devote his morning show to re-electing Obama if Gingrich is the Republican candidate. He and other "non-partisan" shows have influence over scores of apolitical folks.

No matter how this turns out, Ann Coulter and Chris Christie will have done great damage to themselves. They have both been insulting and dismissive to people while trying to sell Mitt Freakin’ Romney as if he is some kind of Conservative icon.

As I’ve said, the premise may not be true. Remember, the main reason she supported Christie was so that someone other than Romney would get the nomination.
The outing of RINOs by this primary election has been stunning to watch. People who I thought were genuine, God-honest conservatives are in the tank for Romney & becoming unhinged at the thought of a Gingrich victory. It’s amazing but sad at the same time
I’ve come to the realization that Newt is the third party candidate.
I think a lot of people out there are staunch Republicans. They are Republicans first and conservatives second. Mitt is the establishment candidate and they will stick by him to the death (conservative or not). Personally, I like Newt BECAUSE they are trying to take him down all the while calling him the establishment candidate. The difference between conservative and republican has been exposed. It’s up to us to figure out what to do, we can’t trust all the talking heads, they are reponsible for decades of this crap.
Now, you assert Ann Coulter is being very anti-Newt and pro mitt on various news interview. Not being in the US, I have not seen any of this. So - what exactly is she saying about Romney? Once we know that, then we can judge whether those comments are true or not. What is she exactly saying about Gingrich? Once we know that, we can judge whether the criticism is justifiable or not.
What’s with Drudge? It’s like the Mitt Romney war room.

First Coulter, then Drudge, then Abrahams, then.... All Rinos now. Has it occurred to anyone on this site that maybe they should take a closer look at Newt. How many Republican house reps when Newt was speaker have come forward to endorse him? All Rinos now I guess.

Having observed her last several performances its occured to me that she’s experienced a near nervous or mental breakdown of sorts. She reminds me of someone who’s recently been taking to the bottle a bit more often and more fully of late. She may be in need of a stint at the Betty Ford clinic.

What’s wrong with it is, if that is her position - that Newt can’t beat Obama- she’s being downright rude, hateful, & vitriolic.
she hates Obama more than she loves newt, and can accept Romney as President. Pretty simple in my mind.
