Would Mitt Romney be the first Mexican American president? Former candidates who got their butt's handed to them in the primaries typically don't hold any title. So no, he'll never have that title.

He’s desperate. Being born in Mexico (as his father was) doesn’t make him Hispanic, and in any case, it might raise questions about his 3 (or was it 5?) grandmothers.
Grampa Romney moved to Mexico with a herd of wives so he could carry on the polygamy that the Mormons were trying to distance themselves from at that point. Romney’s father was born to one of these multiple grandmothers.

The premise of the question sucks but it's typical for this particular "newspaper".
