Glad to hear it. I hear so many guyz complain that they'll have nothing to do when they retire.
Should have a hobby or volunteer or sumthin.
Thank you Kath.
Good morning, beachy...((HUGS))...rushing on my way out.
The dates under his picture are the dates of his service to our country.
Fair winds and following seas, tongue-tied. It’s a sad day for those of us left behind.
Good morning, Ma ((HUGS))
I’m sure I will be gone by the time you get back.
Hope your trip to work went smoothly.
I was reading about all the snow AK has gotten. Is it bad in your area?
Thanks Kathy!

Truk Lagoon, known as Chuuk a group of tropical paradise islands in the Federal States of Micronesia offers adrenaline-junky scuba divers a cool yet creepy underwater adventure in shark-infested Pacific waters while wreck diving the mysterious Ghost Fleet of Truk Lagoon. More than 50 major shipwrecks from WWII litter the seabed, making the undersea wonder of the world the best shipwreck diving destination on the globe. In 1944, Americans launched Operation Hailstone, which has been called the Japanese Pearl Harbor, and the bombardment lasted for three days. The attack wiped out 60 ships and 275 airplanes, sinking them to the bottom of the lagoon, so that now it is the biggest ship graveyard in the world. Most of the wrecks were left untouched for nearly 25 years since people feared setting off the thousands of sunken bombs.

May this beloved hero rest in peace.
We will miss you, tongue-tied!
RIP
...and while I’m on this thread, could you send a few prayers up for my grandson, Petty Officer W., whose baby boy is expected in May. The couple is ecstatic in anticipation of a son. The Mom is over forty, and needs extra prayer as she hasn’t had a baby in 13 years!
The Petty Officer is as nervous as a longtailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs, as this is his first!
Just thought y’all would like to hear about a new life coming into the world, with all the sadness of today’s news about beloved FReepers.
Good afternoon, Arrowhead...((HUGS))...pretty chilly for you.
Our storm, that brought about 10 inches of snow to my house, has passed and now “they” say the next few days will see the nights sub zero. “They” say no more snow for at least a couple weeks.
Is Murfie’s hair all grown out from her summer buzz? Is she loving having Dad home?
I really LIKED tongue-tied and I never met him!!
He was sweet, funny and kind to me; what more could I ask.
Thank you, tongue-tied, you will be missed in this earthly dimension.
*Tears*
Beautiful tribute, Kathy, thank you.
Tiapam was a DEAR, if I recall correctly we exchanged some heartfelt posts and affectionate private messages. Cardhu was brilliant with dazzling photos and wondrous information from Europe, mostly Spain....
This is just very shocking sad news, glad to hear Yorkie will be okay but so hard to survive while others were lost. She is so funny and needs to know life is still worthwhile. (((Hugs)))

He was a very nice guy and, yes, he is missed and mourned. I wish you had gotten the chance to meet him. We were hoping he might get to come on another FReeper trip sometimes. :(
Oh my goodness - what horrible news today. My prayers will go up for all our FReepers in these threads - tongue-tied, roaddog727, Cardhu, Tiapam and especially yorkie who has a road of recovery ahead of her. God bless.

We saw pictures from Alaska with homes literally buried under 15 feet of snow on the national news. Do not want that here.
Yes, Murfie has a bit more hair now, but still loves to go walking when it is cold. She really has the guardian shepherd gene in her. I cannot believe how she lays between us and the door.
