Good morning, Kathy!

*HUGS*

I'm in awe of guys like Petty Officer Regelin who are tasked with EOD - they are a special breed. The WBC are simply beneath contempt. I hope and pray that our friends in PGR do their usual outstanding job in shielding Chad's family and friends from the outrageous conduct of these evil people.

Very sad news from Amy's Place - Freepers Tiapam, Cardhu and Yorkie were in an automobile accident. Tiapam and Cardhu are gone - Yorkie is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Did not know Cardhu - Tiapam was a dear soul with many friends. Yorkie, as you know, posts on the Canteen from time to time. Prayers going up for all three of them. May Tiapam and Cardhu rest in eternal peace. May Yorkie have a full, speedy recovery from her injuries, both to the body and to the soul.

Good morning, EGC. (((hugs)))

It was a bad day yesterday, losing so many FRiends, but I
pray that today will be better.

Hope you and Bo have a chance to go romp at the lake soon.

Good morning, Everyone.

Good morning to

>

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities.

Ah, what's up with the date under his picture?
Am I reading it wrong?

The DC Metroland weather report

~ Today...Partly sunny and breezy.
Highs in the lower 40s.
West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

~ Tonight...Partly cloudy.
Lows in the upper 20s.
West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Rest easy, Chris. Job well done.

I never met TT in person,
although we chatted some here at the Canteen.

I don't think I'd heard from him since he'd retird.

Once, years ago when he was in the sandbox,
I sent him stuff.
He surprised me by sending me this small square object
in acrylate polymer (I guess that is what it is - clear like glass)
that contained a beach scene (chairs, unbrellas, seagulls).
Beautiful and amazing how someone did that.
The package also contained a card
and another item I've forgotten what it was (still in my drawer).

Sad. And scary. He is a couple years younger than my oldest brother.

I don't know, is it just me?
Or does anyone else notice a resemblance?
I think it's the chin.

Time for me to make my rounds.
Please stay right where you are.
Don't leave the room...I'll be bock!

Remember, the Canteen is

Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee,
tea,
pancakes,
conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

Good morning, Beachy! Chris would SO laugh at your comparison of him with Popeye! :)

Hope this is a good Friday 13th...can’t be any worse than the 12th, I think.

Good morning, Luvy ((HUGS))

I know he would laugh. Sorry I never got to share a glass of beer with him. Thank you and mylife for sharing the wonderful stories.

If I remember correctly, TT volunteered on many missions in order to give some of the deployed military a break.

p.s. I met my husband on Friday the 13th. I consider it lucky ;~}

Don't know if you heard the bad news from Amy's Place - Tiapam and Cardhu were killed in an auto accident - Yorkie was seriously injured. See my Post #162.

Good morning, EG ((HUGS))

Well, it’s Friday, so that’s good.
The sun is shining, so that’s good.
It’s turned cooler, which is not good BUT
it’s still mild for January, so that’s good.

Howz it out your way? Howz Bo? His old self yet?

Good morning, CMN ((HUGS))

All this news this morning is giving me cold chills! I heard another FReeper (whom I didn’t know) has also passed away. And a FRiends family member too.

Thanks for the heads-up, I hadn’t heard. Didn’t know Tiapam and Cardhu but recognize Yorkie of course. Thank God she is not in any danger.

Prayers up.

Have a good Friday and stay safe!
