Newt’s right.
Well, Well, Well.
Gingrich must think Santorum is a bigger threat than Romney.
Game on!
The headline is misleading.
Well, Obama didn't either, and he won. Maybe someone should tell Gingrich voters were trying to pick a conservative, not an administrator.
Newt’s ego is massive
Wow, these comments betray a lot of insecurity by Gingrich. “Junior partner.” How desperate.
Eh? A bit misleading.
Seems really like a very complimentary, timid answer as to why Rick is good but Newt’s better.
Hardly a knock at Rick. Dumb headline.
Stupid move on Newt’s part.
Stick to the real enemy Newt!
Gaffe. Newt may or may not be right that Santorum somehow is a lesser guy, but just damn: You don’t CALL HIM “junior partner.” If the MSM tries to trick you into such a statement, just chuckle and say, “Well, I’m running for the top spot, not the undercard, and Rick is too. I’ll leave it at that.”
Newt, puffing yourself up to look real big barely works for the kitten and the pufferfish. It’s tautological that you are the more senior. But you are not trustworthy, and it’s not just about sex. You will do what you believe benefits you most. You don’t seem to be able to delay gratification. Let’s put it this way: I’d rather be in a stuck elevator with Santorum than you.
The human hand grenade about to pop off.
While Newt and Rick work it out amongst themselves regarding who’s on top of our ticket, I know who the junior junior partner is of our three remaining pretty good true conservative candidates.
From the new SC poll just in from American Research Group
Gingrich 24% !!!
Paul 9%
PERRY 2% ..Yikes! Perry may be out of the discussion.
Willard 31%
Santorum 24% !!!
Classic MSM FALSE headline designed to incite division. Newt saying that ‘based on historical experience, he would be senior to Rick’ is anything but ‘Turning Fire’. Good grief. MSM FAIL.
And the infighting continues while Romney doesn’t lift a finger.
Well, lets go to the actual record. Newt Gingrich last ran for elected office in 1998. His district was the most heavily republican in Georgia. The total votes case in that election were about 200,000. Not that Gingrich had to campaign at all, he won 70% of the vote.
Santorum's last election, 2006. There were 4 MILLION votes case. That is 20 times as many people, 20 times the size of the electorate that Gingrich had to campaign for.
It is clear that, comparing the two men on how big a campaign they have had to endure, Gingrich is the one with the piddling record, the "junior partner", and Santorum is the heavy-hitter who has run a large campaign.
Also, condescension is rarely an admirable trait, but it is deadly when one of your major flaws is a penchant for acting like you are so much smarter than everybody else that you believe others should feel blessed by your mere presence.
Hit piece, chop job article by the divide and conquer Hill.
Fall for it your own bias, everyone.
The headline is misleading. Newt is saying, as he did yesterday, that if the two of them join up and work together, he wants to be the senior partner, and Rick can be V.P.
On the other hand, I would agree that it’s pretty silly and condescending to speak that way. You don’t get to pick your V.P. until you’ve been nominated as POTUS. And if you want an informal agreement earlier, this ain’t the way to do it.
How the hell is that turning up the fire
Seems like he was just pointing the difference in experience in congress especially at the leadership level
