Occupy has set its sights on the U.S. Constitution, with some in the movement calling the nations founding document drastically outdated.
A Constitutionalist organization called We The People has teamed up with Occupy to found a working group that calls for the First Amendment to be used to redress grievances that would require provisions for a new national currency, a right for troops refuse certain military orders and the abolishment of the Federal Reserve.
Occupy has also boasted that recent congressional legislation mirrors the anti-Wall Street movements own literature on a constitutional amendment to limit financing in public elections.
This follows a recent Occupy push for a massive public works program under the banner of Occupy the Jobs in which the government would be required to provide jobs at union wages for more than 30 million unemployed and underemployed workers.
The concept bears a striking resemblance to proposals by Cass Sunstein, President Obamas regulatory czar, who has sought a new Bill of Rights in which the government is constitutionally required to offer each citizen a useful job.
Occupys goal of a new U.S. Constitution is also similar to a Sunstein-initiated effort involving other senior White House officials and funded by billionaire George Soros to push for a new, progressive U.S. Constitution by the year 2020.

“In November, Rep. Ted Deutch, D-Fla., a member of the House Judiciary Committee, introduced an amendment called the Occupy Amendment that would ban all corporate money in politics.”
Do the people in this guy’s district know what he’s up to? Sounds like he’s as bad as Grayson and Wee Wee Schultz!
Soros related ping!
Fortunately the Constitution gives them freedom of movement. Please leave the country. How about North Korea (the communist wet dream).
FUOWS
Want to bet there’s no 2nd amendment in the new constitution ?
Only tyrants have a problem with the US Constitution.
What a fine proposal of changes, if you wish to establish a totalitarian slave state.
Comments self moderated... but they were good!

“Only tyrants have a problem with the US Constitution.”
Well, it DOES have that pesky “freedom” bit in there...
Sounds to me like some of the ignorant OWS members may learn something they didn't know and which, in the end, goes against the OWS Socialist intent that seems predominate.
I’ve written a book called “Surviving Civil War II” which goes into the modern civil war being conducted by the Left under Obama. It’s already started, but won’t look like CWI because of the Internet as territory.

Hm. Are unions incorporated? Would that then ban union contributions to political candidates?
That is the beauty of the constitution, it is never "outdated" because there is a procedure to amend it anytime "we the (real) people" feel it necessary,
If the constitution does not suit you then by all means feel free to write up an amendment and see if the rest of the citizens agree with you.
As outrageous as the OWS ‘new constitution’ ideas are, who is really surprised? We all knew this was a Soros-backed front and that it was virulently anti-American. Now, they’ve codified it. The GOP would do well to trumpet this stuff and head off the OWS assault on the Republican presidential nominee by exposing OWS for the totalitarian-bent ‘movement’ it really is. Of course, that probably won’t happen. The independents might not like it, you know and we have to appear ‘bi-partisan’ at all times or risk independent voters abandoning the GOP for Obama.
Sounds good to me, or Iran! Egypt?
That’s exactly right!
I just fear that the will to fight against tyranny is gone. When I post articles on facebook rarely does anyone like or comment. That said, if you go to some of the elected officials pages there are usually a lot of comments for them so maybe there is hope to fight the tide.
