Newt Gingrich still won't congratulate Mitt Romney for winning the Iowa caucuses.
At a news conference in Concord, N.H., Gingrich was asked by CBS correspondent Dean Reynolds why he congratulated Rick Santorum but not Romney.
Gingrich stared at the reporter and raised his eyebrows in silence, eventually drawing laughter from some of the reporters. "Because I know you would be a man of great professionalism, I know that's a rhetorical question. And a good one," Gingrich said.
During his speech in Des Moines last night, Gingrich visibly seethed at mention of Romney, who along with his supporters ran a barrage of attack ads against the former speaker. Romney said he'd spoken with every GOP rival last night except Gingrich.

What does this have to do with mittens? Newt was praising Santorum, with his stealth pointing towards mittens.
I think this stand makes Newt the perfect President!

I’ve listened and read Newt’s position on immigration. YOu can go to his website and read it. Anyone who interprets this as amnesty is not being honest.
Bingo. I always knew Newt’s ego would be his downfall. First he announces he’s going to be the nominee (”look at the polls - I’m clearly going to get the nomination”)and then gets his clock cleaned in Iowa. He needs to man-up and stop complaining. I don’t see any of the other candidates whining.
He’s a sore loser and doesn’t have the temperament to be President.

Screw Mitt. I wouldn’t congratulate him either. His public persona is squeaky clean but he uses the dirtiest campaign staff ever.
And Newt IS a natural born citizen...questions linger on Mitt and unfortunately, some question about Santorum, too, whom I really like.

I for one am not looking forward to forcing myself to vote for Romnie like I and millions of others had to with McCain. There would be no real course change under Romnie...and the argument he can manage things better is suppose to satisfy.
I guess I should have expected cheap shots from a Saints fan.
