Newt Gingrich still won't congratulate Mitt Romney for winning the Iowa caucuses.
At a news conference in Concord, N.H., Gingrich was asked by CBS correspondent Dean Reynolds why he congratulated Rick Santorum but not Romney.
Gingrich stared at the reporter and raised his eyebrows in silence, eventually drawing laughter from some of the reporters. "Because I know you would be a man of great professionalism, I know that's a rhetorical question. And a good one," Gingrich said.
During his speech in Des Moines last night, Gingrich visibly seethed at mention of Romney, who along with his supporters ran a barrage of attack ads against the former speaker. Romney said he'd spoken with every GOP rival last night except Gingrich.

I agree. He’s smart but he’s not fit to be President.
I’m not a Gingrich voter, but I don’t see a problem with the answer. You don’t need to kiss the ass of every primary victor. Save it for the convention.

why should he say that to RINO Romney , the man had his donors run lies, attack ads and Romney is nothing but a liberal say anything RINO who only spent how much on each vote, gets others to lie and attack and you expect that piece of crap to have a well done.

It’s a measure of ‘maturity’, not politics. The losing team’s coach, even in Little League, congratulates the winning team on their victory. Most children learn this princple - it appears that this childhood lesson was missed by Newt.
Whether you like Mitt or not; it’s a measure of the kind of man Newt is.
He appears to be a shallow person, who cannot handle defeat well. Is that the type of president you want? Someone who storms off the field, throws a temper tantrum, and cries; or a Man who says “Well done; we’ll see what happens next time”.
Even Algore managed to be gracious when he lost, and that’s not setting the bar very high at all.
Why should he? Romney trashed him and trashed every candidate who looked like he had a chance, so what reason is there for Gingrich to congratulate him?
