School Defends Occupy Song For 8-year-olds
By Todd Starnes/TWITTER
A Virginia school district is defending a song allegedly written and performed by a group of third graders about the Occupy Wall Street movement that conservative bloggers are calling a form of indoctrination.
The song, Part of the 99, was performed by children at Woodbrook Elementary School in Albemarle County, Virginia.
A spokesman for the school system said as far as they were concerned there isnt a controversy and called criticism of the program unfortunate.
We really dont censor the topics that students come up with, school spokesman Phil Giaramita told Fox News & Commentary. This is the first time weve had the lyrics of one of these songs criticized.
The controversy surrounding the song was first reported by the Weasel Zippers website.
Theyre actually claiming third-grade children wrote these lyrics and chose the topic as well, Weasel Zippers wrote. Because what eight-year-old child isnt obsessed with class warfare?

LOL! That’s so true! I don’t have kids and even I KNOW that given the chance, they would probably write about poop and stinky siblings! Thanx for the laugh-poopy head! ;)
That is a great example...
But I do not see a single individual benefitting from this step in the process...
I see a whole gaggle of liberal/progressive/socialists getting their “mitts” on this generation, along with the alreadu poluted “expectation generation” (the Occupiers), fomenting the future with their ideals, or non-ideals...
When do we get our chance???
We had our chance and the intelectually lazy were sucked up into this movement years ago...
So there really is no chance to get a conservative, effort-based mentality to succeed, and to protect these freedoms to succeed anymore...
Much less learn from history without that history being re-written and taught to future generations...
It is only a matter of time before this experiment called these “United States of America” is over...
I believe we’ll still keep up the fight, but unless some people are willing to bleed for the future, it will continue to go downhill like a snowball headed for hell...
So this administrator doesn’t censor students’ lyrics. What if they’d have spun out derogatory ditties about gays or Blacks? I’m betting they’d have been expelled.
Times have changed a bit. This is the version I knew at that age, back when the dinosaurs still roams the earth.
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the burning of the school
We have tortured all the teachers and we’ve broken every rule
We are now headed down the hall to hang the pricipal
??? is marching on (don’t remember that)
Glory glory hallelujah
Teacher hit me with a ruler
I hit her on the bean with a rotten tangerine
And the juice came squirting out.
Upon reflection, that 1st verse sounds like the French Revolution. Hmm.
But Aren’t the lyrics to the song indicate a form of bullying by the 99% to the 1%??
I thought schools condoned any type of bullying??
sarc//
Actually that’s the modern day public school 7th grade level. Have you seen any middle school Facebook posts lately?
mine was more violent due to the advent of fire arms:
“teacher hit me with a ruler”
“went to her door with a loaded 44”
“and she don’t teach no more”
Pardon the double negative.
Yeah, 8 year olds wrote that. And I was the ghost writer for Beethoven back in the day.
“He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.” Adolph Hitler

Change We Can Believe In-Song
Change we can believe in
Change that makes a difference
Together we can change the world
Tell every man and woman, every boy and girl
Change can tear down every wall
You and I can make the greatest change of all
Were united we all stand as one
Divided we will fail and we will surely fall
Tell the children
Take them by the hand
Tell the generations that we can take a stand
Tell the nation let them know that God can heal our land
Change is what we all must be
Change is what we all must see
This is our moment, This is our time
Seize it, [unintelligible], we wont be denied.
Say yes we can, yes we can,
Yes we can
From the power you may go so very long
Go so very long
Let us live [unintelligible]
Dont matter what may come our way
They can not [unintelligible]
Tell the children
Take them by the hand
Tell the generations that we can take a stand
Tell the nation let them know that God can heal our land
We want change
We need change
We want change
We must change
Change, Change, believe it
Change, Change, a difference
[unintelligible]
Our change is here.

Powell Elementary Present Kings of Rock
Barack Obama there is none higher
Other politicians should call me sire
To burn my kingdom you must use fire
I create change till I retire!
Democratic Party come correct
Our cuts are on time our rhymes connect
Got the right to vote and will elect
Others cant feel us but give us respect
Now I walked through crowds, shook many hands
Spent my time saying YES WE CAN!
I stood on many stages, held many mics
Took airplane flights at great heights
PA and Jersey, I won that fight
Chicago Illinois was so hype
Moving so strong
Biden joined the fight
Now we are a team and we ignite!
Now I crash through walls,
Cut through floors,
Burst through ceilings
Knock down doors.
He is George
And Im Turan
Were never far behind
In class we shine
For every living person
With dreams and plans
Keep hope alive
Think Yes We Can
Were the baddest of the bad
The cool of the cool
Im Barack
I rock and rule.
Im Joe. I rock and rule.
Its not a trick or treat or April fools,
Its all brand new
With a little old school.

“Obama”
Barack Obama Recorded:
Because of what we did on this day, in this election at this defining moment, change has
come to America.
Kids:
Obama is fresh. Obama is cool. He has two daughters that like to go to school. Its hot
outside, they jump in the pool. [unintelligible] to follow the rules. Obama is President
and has a new residence. Theres people all around who questions all the evidence.
Michelle wants her daughters to think their own things. She doesnt want their colors to do
it instead. The 44th President of the USA because he beat Senator John McCain. Obama in
charge of the oval office. He told Bush and his cabinet to get off this. A a-a-a-aay.
Obama is President of the USA-aaaay. Tomorrows a new day ay ay- ay- ay. And were
living our life.
Barack Obama Recorded:
It grew strength from the young people who rejected the myth of their generations apathy;
who left their homes and their families for jobs that offered little pay and less sleep;
from the not-so-young people who braved the bitter cold and scorching heat to knock on the
doors of perfect strangers; from the millions of Americans who volunteered, and organized,
and proved that more than two centuries later, a government of the people, by the people and
for the people has not perished from this Earth. This is your victory.

Barack Obama School Song, Do You Hear The Sound, Janelle Kirton, Barack Obama Song.
Theres a sound of Change
Blowing in the wind
Its a sound that started long ago
By those who dare to dream
Fighting against the loss
With a passion of hope of better days
They had a dream
They had hope
for a friend to bring this nation together as one
The journey begins to education
Unlocking every door
Shaping a better tomorrow
We are sons and daughters
Of promise
Of school like a city upon a hill
Lights inside our hearts
And hope to [unintelligible]
To rise and conquer
[unintelligible]
To dream
To make a difference
Not just in our land
But in the world
Yes we can
Make a difference
If we unite
Together and take
I am the dream
I am the hope
I am the bridge thatll bring this nation
Together as one
The journey begins to education
Unlocking every door
To shaping a better
Tomorrow
Theres [unintelligible]
If I teach you believe
My voice will count
My voice will be heard
Do you hear the sound
I am the dream
Do you hear the sound
I am the hope
Do you hear the sound
Yes we can.

Apparently the extent of their insanity has no boundaries, no end, no bottom, no limits whatsoever.
It also has NO CURE.
.
Just the other day, I heard my 8-year-old daughter discussing the mortgage-backed securities bubble with her little friends.
Most of them agreed that the securitization of bad debts mandated by socialistic government policy was the contributing factor.
They were also of the belief that boys in government are stinky and the time to invest in gold was two years ago.
We told you people in Va that “moderates” were not the way to go. Now you’re paying the price.
Wish I could say I was surprised. But it’s Obama’s America.
Did they happen to mention where the floor for silver was or was that a bit too "first grade" for them?
Just asking, I could kinda use that ya know...
:-)
