That was once, called “treason”.

Let 'em have it. It won't work in the U.S.
Why? In China the gubbermint can make the people ride the train, while in the U.S. the people aren't ready to give up their freedom of using their vehicles at their destination.

They have trouble getting anyone to ride the trains they have now. So a faster train will bring more people? Only in a socialist corrupt system ...

Thank a Free Trader Communist every time the Communist Chinese make an advancement from stolen American ingenuity
Of course, the Commie Chinese version of this high speed train will crack up once it hits 350 K/h, but I am sure a Free Trade Commie will have some spin about that

I rather like the Japanese hight speed trains but I haven’t the same trust for Chinese engineering and construction. Corruption and cutting corners is ingrained in the Chinese crony system.

Here's a picture;
It looks cool. Don't know how nice it'd look after derailing at 300+ mph. Does look cooler than the trains we've got here (and with gasoline around $8.25 per gallon, I'll take the train, thanks).

a train or anything else traveling at this speed along the ground is just plain stupid. Too many things can go wrong as far as things getting in the way.

Who in hell cares whether the technology was “stolen?” China is using it, while we’re not. The future belongs to those who take risks. Let the meek inherit the Earth - it’s all they deserve.
