I know the director and his son were killed by a drunk driver who just happened to be an illegal alien.

I gave my Grandson a pellet pistol for Christmas this year. It is a Crosman 1377. I also included two pair of shooting glasses.

He is only 8 but his parents will supervise him until he is responsible enough to use it on his own. I actually doubt he could pump it up more than one or two pumps right now.

I’m told by other freepers on these annual Christmas Story threads that one of the kids is now doing gay porn

I had an uncredited part in that movie. You know the scene where Flick gets his tongue stuck to the flagpole and the firemen come to rescue him? Well, I sold a big mac to the guy who put gas in that firetruck. I almost had to join the actors union.

I got about halfway through that movie before I stopped watching. I thought it was one of the stupidest movies I’ve ever seen. But I suppose I’m in the minority on this.

This movie, like “It’s a Wonderful Life”, was one of those movies I was told I just HAD to see. I sat through them both only once. I found this one to be cold, dark, depressing and altogether dreary. Can’t believe anyone finding it to be any different. Once was enough.

"Instead, they shoved a suction tube inside the pole to simulate the act."

I was wondering how they filmed the 'tongue stuck to the pole" --- after having the tv on tbs all Christmas morning
