I have been listening to a lot of debate on the radio about the payroll deduction cut. I just recently heard the Won on the radio going on about how some guy will miss his pizza night.
Why can't Boehner and McConnel, instead, come out and say, "We'll cut the income tax rates by 2 percent and reinstate the payroll tax rate so Social Security can remain funded and K.Z. can still have his pizza night with his daughters.
Better yet, we'll cut the income tax rate 4% and they can have pizza night twice a week."
Why do they let the dems consistently out maneuver them on the tax issue?
Because the government doesn’t GIVE taxpayers anything. It takes. If they are really in a good mood, why not just print a million bucks for everybody and let us all pay off all our bills and mortgages and by a new car? If we do it fast enough, we’ll be out of debt and in new rides before inflation has a chance to get us!
I’m sure the dumb working fools that are crying about having to pay $40 in social security taxes will understand when there is no money for their social security checks when they retire. By then there will be no more rich to tax and subsidize their lives.
because the target audience of Obama pays no income tax and they still want their refund from his stash
America’s communists Democrats including King Obama win again.
Little Caesar’s Pizza has $5 carryout for the large 1-topping pizza.
You plan is not acceptable because Ubama wants to reward those people who pay NO income taxes, but may pay SOME payroll taxes. He does NOT want to benefit the “rich” who DO pay income taxes!!!
Oh sure...Your going to have family pizza night for 5 bucks.
What a hoot!
I just about died laughing over that one.
Tuesday night at Pisa Pizza in Malden has Two for One Night.
Why shouldn’t everyone pay their fair share? Where does the idea that the government would give us $40? What if they took say $1000 less?
This is not federal income tax it is the Social Security Tax percentage from 6.2 to 4.2 percent. Everyone who has taxes taken from them pays this percentage including the 47%. I wish income tax was only 4%.
Because if a cut in income tax results in a revenue loss then it will show up in the yearly budget deficit. Cutting the Social Security, which is a separate account from the budget, allows the thieves on both sides to continue playing monkey business with the Social Security account by just stuffing it with more IOUs (aka Treasury bonds with interest).
Anybody that has a job/paycheck has to pay FICA.
It’s not like the Social Security System is rolling in unspent cash.
1.Should have PROTECTED Social Security. Elderly have already had billions stripped from Medicare and are mad about it. Elderly population is growing as baby boomers retire, and elderly voters show up.
2. Obamanomics has destroyed jobs. Millions of Americans would like to have a job. Obama’s solution is to help Americans making $100,000 more than the “working poor” or those who are desperately searching for a job.
Everyone could use some extra cash. Cut Government salaries and send it out to the every legal house hold.
One can't get something for nothing forever.
They could always move to Venezuela/Cuba/Zimbabwe.
Who can afford pizza night once a week anyway? If it were a Repub tax cut they would be talking about a muffler on a Lexus, what phonies.
Merry Christmas
Yes, why did the House Republicans Cave to President Obama?
If the RINO establishment gets its way we won’t be seeing tax cuts (at least for the job creators) since Milquetoast Mitt only favors cutting taxes for the middle class.
Because you can not "justify" a cut SS benefits because "you did not pay in as much" if it is an "income tax cut."
An "income tax cut" will show as decreased general revenue, whereas a SS payroll cut is not supposed to affect general revenue because of the myth that it is separate.
In reality it is nothing but IOU's...
.
I guarantee that within months of such a policy being implemented Taxes and Spending will drop dramatically OR there will be lots of new Congresscritters walking around Washington after the next election!
