Sheriff Joe Arpaio had his first run-in with a group of suspected illegal immigrants since things heated up with the Department of Justice.
The Department of Justice recently revoked his deputies' ability to check immigration status inside Maricopa County jails.
Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Lt. Justin Griffin says they pulled over a vehicle and have eight people in their custody for human smuggling at 35th Avenue and Durango.
Griffin says they attempted to give four of the detainees to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but MCSO says ICE is refusing to take them.
Griffin says, "We asked ICE, 'If we were DPS, would you take them from us?' And we were told specifically, 'Yes.'"

That won't work. ICE is forcing DPS to bring them to Case Grande Border Patrol, where smuggling charges are dropped (it is against AZ law), and they are released within hours. There is no way around Obama's foreign national voter registration drive.
Didn’t the union for ICE and Border Patrol do something to show they despise the crap the upper management has been doing to them? Like a vote of no-confidence?
What will it take for the whistle-blowers within those agencies to come forward just like the people did in Fast & Furious?
Maybe that’s why ICE put only one person there to replace what Arpaio had. No underlings to tell the truth to the public...
Maybe it’s because Mylife is from Texas and has seen what Perry has either done or wanted to do, but is hampered by the feds.
Mexico, a country, is not obligated to deal with a state, so there’s not much Texas can do without the cooperation of the federal government.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio needs the help of a dozen or more other county Sheriff’s to stand with him, so he isn’t facing ICE, Holder and the justice by himself. The county sheriffs are in a strong position to fight the battle against the Fed’s, but need to do it in greater numbers.
Of course help by someone in the Media would be an added plus.

Exactly. Many of us (you included) have been saying this since before the election.
They let the criminal (Obama) into their homes and then start complaining that he starts robbing, raping, and pillaging.

It was to Border Patrol custody, not the border itself. ICE is playing a dangerous game, and the agents don't like it. But they are hamstrung by the Dictator.
Well, it needs to change by getting back to local and states rights.
We chain the illegals together and march them to the border on foot.

I assure you the average protester in Manhattan is not happy with the illegal aliens in this country. Maybe they need them to clean the port-o-johns, or bring coffee.
Sheriff Paul Babeu is not going to put up with Obama’s crap. He is aligned with Arpaio, as well are the judges.
As long as the agents have the knowledge and can testify as to how the Dictator has undermined the rule of law, they have a powerful weapon.
If they want to honor each other, they can’t just let DHS, FBI, DOJ, AZ AG, and AZ US Attorney all play games with the life of Brian Terry or any of the other victims of this administration’s assault on America.
It took one day for an e-mail to be revealed showing that personal e-mails are being used to evade disclosure requirements in the F&F investigation. One day.
We need to see ICE and Border Patrol agents exposing the crap from this lawless administration TOMORROW. This is open war and they need to make it clear whose side they are on - the rule of law, or anarchy.
