From Stand With Arizona's Facebook page:
PHOENIX (KPHO) -
Sheriff Joe Arpaio had his first run-in with a group of suspected illegal immigrants since things heated up with the Department of Justice.
The Department of Justice recently revoked his deputies' ability to check immigration status inside Maricopa County jails.
Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Lt. Justin Griffin says they pulled over a vehicle and have eight people in their custody for human smuggling at 35th Avenue and Durango.
Griffin says they attempted to give four of the detainees to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but MCSO says ICE is refusing to take them.
Griffin says, "We asked ICE, 'If we were DPS, would you take them from us?' And we were told specifically, 'Yes.'"
Stay with KPHO.com and CBS 5 for more on this developing story.
My suggestion is cut the head off the snake. The problem is NOT ICE per se—but the very clear and present danger to our nation is the resident evil in the Oval Office. ICE can do only what it is directed to do . Cut the head off the snake.
IMPEACH the enemy of my country and insist his replacement be loyal to the United States of America and our way of life. And ICE will come around.
Rick Perry has stated that the Feds wouldn’t enforce the border. He has openly called on them to do so. The “in state tuition “ thing was started and passed by the Texas Legislature with a large margin. It probably helps less than 1/100 of 1% of immigrants, who would be mostly kids that were abandoned with relatives who were legal, and went through he public school system. And they still have to pay the same as any other Texan.People disagree a lot about this, but I’ll bet far more folks have attacked Perry on this issue right here on this board than the number of of immigrants who have benefited from this. But, back to your question, Perry would be much tougher on illegal immigration than he has been, if he would have had the Federal Government’s cooperation. You are seeing proof that the feds have no real intention of enforcing the border now. Perry tried to hand deliver a letter on this issue to Obama on this issue and Obama would not accept it. I believe one of his staff did take the letter.
Take them to the border and make them march across at gun point.
And don’t forget he sent the fed’s a bill for all the money the State of Texas has had to spend on detaining illegals.
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Texas Gov. Rick Perry has asked the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for nearly $350 million to cover the costs he says Texas has incurred incarcerating illegal immigrants in state prisons and county jails.
In a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, Perry reiterated a claim hes often leveled against the federal government: that its not doing enough to secure the border with Mexico and as a result, has allowed illegal immigrants to enter the U.S. and use taxpayer-funded resources, including the prison system.
Sent a bill he know he can't collect. What courage!
Ditto that!
[Note: The opposition already has a petition AGAINST Joe with nearly 12,000 signatures. Let's push this one to 20,000 signatures or more by the end of today!]
Time for action: Contact the offices of your congressmen and senators asking that they do an inquiry into this situation. Ask that they seek clarification from Janet Napolitano concerning this unacceptable situation. I just finished contacting mine. Use the house.gov and senate.gov websites for ease. Ask as many people as you can to do this.
———What can we do?-——
arrest and jail ICE officers. Arrest and jail DHS and DEA and ATF officers.
Without I.D. book them under John Doe and charge them with every crime John Doe is charged with.
Just a couple hundred short of 15,000 as of now.
shocking bump
this has to make big news
That’s playing the game zero is playing.
Dump the illegals in DC and in Chicago or wherever zero’s family live - and just to make the point even stronger, put busloads at the home addresses of zero’s staff families/relatives.
if they aren’t being civilized, why would we be?
i really can’t believe in my lifetime that our own gov’t is behaving like a chicago capone mob.
No doubt you are correrct. The feds want a fight. I urge rational thinking and rational action so we do not fall into the trap of the administration that is just looking for an excuse to impose martial law on the citizenry. Let's really be careful.

How could they get past the gate with no ID?
When our “Department of Justice” is using its vast resources to KEEP LAWS FROM BEING ENFORCED it is time to either fire everybody there and replace them with folks who will do what they’ve been hired to do, or take the same approach the Injustice Dept seems to be taking: take away their resources and let them fade into oblivion.
Defund the Injustice Department until they decide they’re going to do what We the People have hired them to do: enforce the laws.
This is the crux of our whole problem, just as it was the crux of the American Revolution. If the government is not accountable to us or to the rule of law, then IT is the enemy and must be dispensed with and replaced. Period.
If there was one Presidential candidate who acknowledged that this is where we’re at as a nation, that person would have my vote a million times over.
