The Daily Mail ^ | 12-4-2011 | Staff - AP

With the Republican field’s first major test just weeks away, the failed presidential bid of Herman Cain is throwing his support behind the current frontrunner.

Sources told Fox 5 Atlanta that Herman Cain will endorse the presidential bid of Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Several sexual harassment allegations and a claim of a long-term affair left the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO’s White House bid all but destroyed.

"can't vote for a Global Warming One Government Empowerment Politician."

When Newt said that his Global Warming endorsement was the biggest mistake he ever made, he meant it. Do you recall him saying that or did you forget to remember it?

I liked bachman before the debates, in fact was FOR her before the debates, but she has since some across as shrill, without a selling point and just vicious — except to Romney. I do not support her now

"He may be a scholar, but he believes that life begins at “successful implantation.”"

There are two methods used by IUDs sold in the United States. One way is by the encouragement of Mucuse production to create a barrior to the sperm. This is the method of the Mirena IUD which secretes progestin for this purpose. The Mirena IUD provides double protection against pregnancy because it also affects the lining of the uterus to prevent implantation of a fertilized egg. The copper ParaGard IUD does not have hormones. It works by activating enzymes in the lining of the uterus, which prevents the implantation of an egg.

Thought you would want to know about the implantation thing in terms of birth control.

I well remember it. In my mind, it came across as, “oops, that didn’t work. I was looking at the wrong denomination bill being waved in by face that day.”

Well here’s the conversation...which Coburn said he wasn’t “Inclined” to support Newt for President.

“Wallace closed a discussion about extending the payroll tax cut by pushing Coburn into spelling out why he’s not “inclined” to support Newt Gingrich for president.

Wallace asked,.... “As Speaker Gingrich takes the lead in the Republican race do you still have those questions about his fitness to be president?”

Coburn said,.... “Chris, there’s a lot of candidates out there. I’m not inclined to be a supporter of Newt Gingrich’s, having served under him for four years and experienced personally his leadership.”

Wallace wanted specifics.... “Why is that?”

Coburn didn’t seem to want to get specific. ....“Because I found it lacking oftentimes,”

Wallace pushed for more... “I don’t want to pull teeth but if you could just explain why. I think it’s an important thing. People want to know what you think.”

He said,..... “The thing is, there’s all types of leaders: leaders that instill confidence,... leaders that are somewhat abrupt and brisk,... leaders that have one standard for the people that they are leading and a different standard for themselves....

....” I just found his leadership lacking and I’m not gonna to go into greater detail on that and I think if you were to poll the gang, the group of people that came in to Congress in 1994 - which he did a wonderful job in organizing that - he’s brilliant.... He has a lot of positives, but I still, I will have difficulty supporting him as President of the United States.”

With that, Wallace ended the discussion.....

However Newt’s record of bringing congress together to act, and this also in various other areas of Washington , via his record, would disagree with Coburns “feelings”. I personally think because Coburn is a staunch Christian Newt’s infildelity also come into play.

But I’m quite comfortable for people to make up their own minds on what they think of Newt....I support him and haven’t seen enough to convince me any of his misteps of the past can come close to the accomplishments he has as a matter of record.

"I do not support Newt Gingrich because he is a waffler on issues with a liberal streak almost as bad as Mitt Romney."

The Left has figured out how to take out Newt Gingrich. You, of course will fall for it just like the millions of voters who select presidents on the basis of the color of their necktie. The Left will tell you that you can't trust Newt because he changes his opinion and won't stick to his guns. Then they will roll out about 20 years worth of inconsistencies and you will swallow it just like Kool Aid. Won't you?

So, I will repost an earlier post:

Those who toss the flip flop epithet around on this forum use the term with a wide brush. In the case of Newt Gingrich, it is done with vindictiveness. If anyone with any intelligence cannot see it, let me spell it out sucinctly. Newt Gingrich has been on a long search for conservative principles that work for America. If anyone has known anything, such searches do not always work. I will give the best example for those dim bulbs who need to turn on their light bulb and wise up: Thomas Edison. How many attempts did Thomas Edison use to get one thing right? Edison made 1000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. Each one of those attempts has never been seen as a flip flop.

I am watching supposed conservatives undermining every candidate in the Republican field. I have read about how they will sit out the election if their candidate does not nominated. When you ask them who is their candidate, they say they have not decided. I say these people are acting just like a political insurgency to play havoc with our candidates. They must be working for the other side or, trying to set the climate for a third party which will insure Zer0 gets reelected.

Thinking it has to do with the fact Coburn is a staunch Christian...also part of “The Family” secrecy group in Washington which am not sure if Newt is a member of.... and has yet to forgive Newt for his infidelity....as this and other news sites from 2010 til currently show. One below might explain it...but Coburn keeps that issue on the front burner concerning Newt as he thinks it makes Newt..”unstable”.....but because in this most recent interview I think Coburns coming around since he this time he wouldn't be specific...rather re-framed it to Newt's leadership.

August 2010...a couple years ago...Conservative Oklahoma Republican Sen. Tom Coburn said Friday that Newt Gingrich is “the last person I'd vote for for president of the United States” because “[h]is life indicates he does not have a commitment to the character traits necessary to be a great president,” according to the Tulsa World.........Coburn said specifically that while Gingrich is “super smart,” he “doesn't know anything about commitment to marriage.

Cain is a victim of David Axelrod and the State Owned Media. What is unbelievable is that the Republican Party sat back and let this political lynching take place. The Republican Party should have a war room set up and an army of workers set to pounce on all of these attacks.

If we could find out who was orchestrating this smear cammpaign (I suspect Axelrod because that is his tactic) we could devestate the Left’s strategy. I want to know who is paying these women to come forward.

Primary Seasons are always ugly and filled with hurt feelings.

Most *adults* calm down once the voting is complete, but right now not one vote has been cast in any primary state.

I don’t see much sense in bashing and trashing and nitpicking or acting petulant, but that’s just me.

My candidate didn’t run. I got over it on the day she announced. I didn’t find another candidate, so I remained open to all with a favoring toward Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain and then Newt Gingrich. I like Rick Perry too, but he’s in the low percenter’s too, and right now, I’m looking to Newt to wager the best fight to stop Romney and then do battle against the Marxist.

Who knows, maybe things will change, but I think Gingrich is the best equipped to take it to the Marxist.
