Here is audio of conservative writer and radio host Mark Levin announcing who he supports for the 2012 GOP Presidential Nomination. Levin said, for him, he supports Michele Bachmann or Rick Santorum. However, Levin said he would support whoever becomes the GOP Nominee.
Indeed it is. And, not that Romney's any prize, but this country won't survive another term of the Kenyan Marxist. That's just another ugly fact.
I don’t know Bachman has looked petty with how she has attacked other conservatives and her eyes make her look crazy. Cain was the best shot at a conservative who can get everybody motivated with conservatism like Reagan. Seriously who believes Bachman or Santorum who acts like a beta geek really get anybody riled up like Reagan did in that time for choosing speech.
Newt really can’t either but we know he would eviscerate Obama in a debate.
Palin screwed up by not running, and it’s too bad Perry gave people a relapse of Bush deer in the headlights...
This is startin to feel like 2008 all over again
Interesting. I like your posts even though we don't always agree and respect your views. You may be right about Bachmann. I've always said I agree with her more than any other candidate - and that is going way back. Bachmann is a rock, a solid conservative down the line.
When Perry entered the race I saw a candidate that was excellent on paper (in my opinion), but who I finally concluded probably didn't have the communication skills for the job. In trying to knock him down, I think Bachmann went overboard on the HPV thing and kind of blew up her campaign. I pretty much wrote her off after that, but she is definitely the candidate that most closely matches me ideologically.
I've moved to Gingrich lately. Not because I love him, but I do like some things about him and felt he was the strongest option remaining. I'd be prepared to reconsider Bachmann or Perry though. I suppose I will watch and see if either kick their campaigns into high gear and emerge stronger.
Thanks for your comments!
There are four flavors of conservative out there: Bachmann, Santorum, Perry and Gingrich. Cain has withdrawn.
Gingrich is running far ahead of the others. So I support him. I want to make sure the nominee is NOT Romney or Huntsman. The best way to achieve that is for all conservatives to vote for whatever conservative is ahead in the polling before the primary.
I could definitely live with Rick Santorum but not Michele Bachmann; I’ve given my reasons for no longer caring for Michele many times on many different Threads here on FR. No sense going into it all again. But, I could go for Rick. Newt is still my #1 choice. My first choice was Herman, but, as they say, the rest is history.
Sarah has mentioned Santorum as well.

I think Santorum is going to be the “Surprise” coming out of Iowa. I don’t think he will win, but I do think he will come in Third place.
Sorry my FRiend. As a resident of the Peoples' Republik of Kalifornia I know how you feel. My vote never counts; no matter how horrific the dem candidate they always win this state.
Those are my 2 favorites too. Santorum and Bachman. Unfortunately, Bachmann is at a disadvantage because she’s female and her voice does not lend itself to speaking to large audiences. She shone tonight in the one on one venue that Huckabee provided tonight with the AGs.
I really trust, enjoy and depend on Mark Levin’s opinion, but sadly I do not trust either Michele or Rick (me, me, me,I, I, I)
While Newt isn’t as conervative as I would like, he is still a gazillion times better then oblahblah and I can actually see the chance of him winning. There is just no way enough people will vote for either Michele or Rick.

Tagline!
I’m surprised he’s not for Newt or something.
I’d go Bachmann #1, Santorum #2, and jeez I guess his eternal Rickitude goes to a distant #3 though I wouldn’t be happy with him.
If Bachmann wins Iowa we have a ballgame. Hopefully Cain support will migrate to her. Campaignpete is right she could be hurt in Iowa by none other than Ron Paul, ugh.
Santorum has never gained traction, let’s see if that changes now.
Well, ok, in Kalifornia you are probably right - sadly.
Rick Santorum has never gained traction, but Michele Bachmann did gain traction and very quickly proved that she couldn’t stay in the top tier of candidates. I can see conservatives coalescing around Santorum and having him become the anti-Romney in time for Iowa and then South Carolina and Florida, but Bachmann already fizzled under the lights and won’t get a second chance.
Santorum is more conservative and trustworthybthan Romney, Newt or Perry, and more knowledgable, polished and eloquent than Bachmann or Cain (and I’d say is just as conservative as even those two). Sure, he lost reelection in PA in 2006 against the son of the universally beloved late Governor Bob Casey, but it’s not like electoral acumen are strong points for Bachmann (who routinely runs a few points behind the GOP presidential candidate and nearly lost the most Republican district in MN in 2008) or Cain (whose only previous electoral experience was his second-place finish in the 2004 GOP Senate primary in GA). And, lest we forget, prior to running into that liar Bob Casey, Jr. in ridiculously anti-Republican 2006, Santorum had been remarkably successful at being elected in Democrat turf despite (or, I would say, because of) his social and economic conservatism (with a bit of blue-collar protectionism sprinkled in). Santorum was first elected in a blue-collar Dem district near Pittsburgh in 1990, in an upset that no one predicted. He was redistricted in 1992 into an even more heavily Democrat CD (58% for Dukakis in 1988, and carried by Clinton by 22% in 1992), and he somehow won again. In 1994, Santorum was elected to the Senate over Harris Wofford, who just two years earlier had defeated the strongest candidate the GOP could throw at him, former PA Governor and U.S. Attorney General Dick Thornburgh. And in 2000, in the face of a presidential election in which George W. Bush got only 46% in PA, Santorum defeated a pro-life, pro-gun Democrat Congressman from the Pittsburgh area by a larger margin than Gore’s PA margin over Bush. So Rick Santorum knows how to win elections.
I think that the GOP nominee will be either Romney, Newt or Santorum, but that if Santorum does poorly in Iowa it will become a two-man race between Romney and Newt. If you don’t want Newt or Romney to get the nomination, I don’t see any other option than to support Santorum right now.
I had medium hopes for Pawlenty, and was willing to live with Perry's populism, but the rest of the field is pathetic.
Yup. its time for the tea partiers to put up or shut up.

Exactly! I’m so disappointed that Sarah Palin, Jim DeMint nor Paul Ryan ran for the 2012 GOP nomination. And, RINO, Fat Boy, Chris Christie can run his mouth, but he didn’t have the ba**s to run; neither did Donald Trump. So, since none of the aforementioned had the ba**s to run..... STFU!!!
