As you probably heard yesterday, a troubled Atlanta business woman used national media outlets to promulgate a fabricated, unsubstantiated story about a 13 year affair with me. I am writing you today to assure you that this woman’s story is completely false.
I do know Ms. White. I have helped her financially at times over the past few years, just as I have helped many friends and acquaintances throughout the years. I thought Ms. White was a friend in need of a supportive hand to better her life.
Ms. White has made it apparent that she was abusing the friendship.
But now I am asking for your friendship. I am also asking for your prayers and support. This is a trying time for my family, my campaign, and for me. It is also a trying time for our country as we are all distracted from the truly important issues facing our nation.
This evening I have an important speaking engagement at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan, where I will be outlining my foreign policy and national security plan. While recent events have taken a toll on me, the people in the audience this evening will not know it. I will deliver my message with vigor and enthusiasm.
Let me assure you, I am not deterred. America’s future is too important. We will continue on this journey to make America great once again.

The woman has sure signs of delusions of grandeur, which surfaced long before she decided she was being pushed to report an affair with Herman Cain. We may eventually realize that she is a sociopath. Those types are tough to spot when they set about to scam you, as this woman did to Herman and Gloria Cain. Delusions of grandeur are common with sociopaths.
I’m so sorry to hear that. I would hope your wife would have a little more confidence and trust in you.
What they are doing is disgusting!
The media, elites, etc think they can make this man an example.....they want to hang him in the square as a warning to all of us...
We will burn down the square before we allow this man to hang....

I hope that he sticks with it and I am sick and tired of the smear machine. Anyone can accuse anyone of anything.
By focusing power upon these lying scum females, the opposite of raising Herman's numbers would occur. He would raise his negatives with the majortity paying attention, and we know whom would make sure the world was paying attention to the big Herman attacking thee poor accusers, don't we!
So, what's the next talking point on your list, n00b?
I am sure my wife would ask me about the 61 texts and calls to/from this woman. Of course, if it was to/from a woman I was giving cash to (which Herman admits) the trust thing would disappear in a hurry if I told her I was just try to help the poor lady. After I had my attorney draw up a statement like ol Herman’s drew up about the whole sordid affair, I am sure any remaining trust would be gone.
Yawn. Get back to me when you have a point that doesn’t rely on my 6-month old join date. And in case you didn’t notice, Cain’s poll numbers aren’t increasing right now with this latest accusation.
Cain still has this household’s votes.
Still, the smear tactics that are being used against him now are the very same ones that were used against Palin. I don't know if he's telling the truth or not, but I certainly don't like how the libs and the GOP-E are trying to take him down using the sleaze factor, and I'm not about to reward them for it.
M-guy, I really understand your point. But, for some of us, we feel that we can’t continue to allow the left/media to “play” us. The MSM says, ok let’s get some dirt on M-guy’s candidate, and because M-guy’s a principled person, he’ll dump his candidate. Result: we stand on principle, and they govern the country into the abyss.
I’ll stare God in the face, and when He asks why I voted for a possible adulterer, I’ll say honestly- “Because, Dear Lord, the alternative was an atheist1”
A smear campaign will be used against everyone of our candidates. The more they threaten the Washington circle’s perks, methods of operation, the more they will try and destroy the candidate. I mean liberals AND GOP inside crowd.
I will not let them determine my candidate. I will determine my candidate. So, since I know their methods of operation - I tend to discount the attacks and will investigate for myself.
I do not intend to allow the GOP and the liberals to continue their perks, insider trading and becoming millionaires as they use taxpayer money to pad their own pockets.
Time to push forward those that will fight for the people. So far, it has been Sarah, Michelle and Cain. Notice how each has been treated.
Nice to have an Lawyer who knows how to deal with the media.Attorney Lin Wood would tie them up in court for years.
I suspect that Cain's campaign is now effectively fatally damaged. But continuing the fight denies the victory to the headhunters in the short run.
Where will he go to get his reputation back if this newest "accuser" is also discredited like the others?
Give Sarah a break. She has fought a good fight for us and I don’t rule her out.
She does have her family to consider and she was fighting a ruthless crowd.
Yet, I don’t think she intends to let them push her around - she has the guts I have been looking for and the values.
Sarah will continue fighting for us whether a candidate or not.
