It's really this simple: If Cain quits now, the State-Run Media will portray the decision as an admission of guilt. Cain will be ruined as a political figure.

I suspect that Cain's campaign is now effectively fatally damaged. But continuing the fight denies the victory to the headhunters in the short run.

Where will he go to get his reputation back if this newest "accuser" is also discredited like the others?

I think you might be on to something. But, I think it might also have something to do with Newt, who supported Mr. Cain today. The two are reportedly good friends. If Cain departs on alleged infidelity, where would that leave Newt?
