Cain Stands and Fights
Time-The Page ^ | 11-29-11 | Olson

---- Dear Patriots and Supporters,

As you probably heard yesterday, a troubled Atlanta business woman used national media outlets to promulgate a fabricated, unsubstantiated story about a 13 year affair with me. I am writing you today to assure you that this woman’s story is completely false.

I do know Ms. White. I have helped her financially at times over the past few years, just as I have helped many friends and acquaintances throughout the years. I thought Ms. White was a friend in need of a supportive hand to better her life.

Ms. White has made it apparent that she was abusing the friendship.

But now I am asking for your friendship. I am also asking for your prayers and support. This is a trying time for my family, my campaign, and for me. It is also a trying time for our country as we are all distracted from the truly important issues facing our nation.

This evening I have an important speaking engagement at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan, where I will be outlining my foreign policy and national security plan. While recent events have taken a toll on me, the people in the audience this evening will not know it. I will deliver my message with vigor and enthusiasm.

Let me assure you, I am not deterred. America’s future is too important. We will continue on this journey to make America great once again.

Thank you and God bless.

Sincerely, Herman Cain

Palin couldn't take it no matter how much we encouraged her

In my less charitable moments I wish some of you insipid twits had to walk in her shoes the last three years. Listen to national loudmouths telling you, you should have killed your baby.

Or how funny it is for your 13 year old daughter to be raped by some slobbering New York asswipe in Yankee stadium.

Or some diseased AIDS-ridden British pervert telling the world your daughter's child was really yours--or vice versa-- it's hard to keep straight the paranoid delusions af a twisted sickie whose brain is slowly liquefying from the filthy disease his own degenerate behavior brought on himself.

Or having a drunken chickenshit pervert from New York skulking around your daughter's bedroom windows. Yeah, big shot, tell us how YOU would "take it", and for what.

I’m ready for the “hi tech lynching” speech, Mr. Cain. Not a soul would blame you if you gave it.

Because he's a man of God, and he is being demonized by these pitiful losers. Just look at their faces and posture to decide credibility. One reason I believed Clinton's accusers was their obvious truthfulness.

Try using some discernment...this is big time spiritual warfare.

Well, no one knows about Mr. Cain’s relationship with God but God and Mr. Cain.

I don’t think he’s being demonized. I think he’s an arrogant fellow and a ladies man who thought he could get by with anything. And apparently, he was right among his supporters.

Everyone is calling this woman trash. All that says to me is that Mr. Cain was involved with a trashy woman. I have no doubt that he was involved...it’s just too much smoke.

I truly feel sorry for his loyal supporters. He’s hurt them, he’s hurt his wife and family and apparently he’s still refusing to do the right thing and get out.

My wife would think 61 phone calls and texts to/from a ‘troubled’ woman I was trying to ‘help’ would be more than reprehensible, she would call it grounds for divorce.

So let's see the texts. . .if there was a "there" there. . we would have seen text transcripts by now. I'm sticking with Cain. . hell, the dems stick with their guys come hell or high water. . .we're going to throw Cain under the bus because of texts? Please. . .run to Newt. . you deserve him. . .and then you'll run someplace else after the next volley from the press hits Newt. . .nope, I'm drawing the line in the sand here. . it ends here. I tell you what. . I DON'T CARE IF THE DIRT IS TRUE OR NOT. . .I'M DRAWING THE LINE HERE. . FIGHT AND DIE HERE! NO MORE BEING COWED BY THE MEDIA!!!

Provide proof. Cain has denied everything and no one has provided any proof of the accusations to this point.

Altura, your tagline says “Perry 2012” and I like Perry plenty, but you appear to have missed that week or two when the media was highlighting every Perry gaffe to halt his momentum. These are the same people now swamping Cain. If Gingrich gets more traction, they’ll drag out some “accusers” for him. Then, if Romney gets more standing, they’ll headline his “weird Mormon beliefs” and try to tie him in with polygamist sects. These people are for Obama, no other need apply. STOP BUYING THEIR GARBAGE! And that goes for the rest of the easily-media-led on this thread. Geez.

Oh believe me there will be RINOs and other media talking heads all over the TV and Talk Radio (in the tank for Mitt or Newt) who are going to have egg allllll over their faces over this one.

I guess, they can do only one of two things: a) apologize and submit to the inevitability of a Herman Cain Nomination; or b) gin up some MORE pathetic bimbo/skank lies that will be getting older and older and less believable by the day.

Desperate folks. Pathetic. They ought to go into retirement, misleading conservative people in the millions like that on Radio and TV and passively if not actively participating in character assassination and the worst political mudslinging I have seen in a long time, all against a CONSERVATIVE.

I understand your sentiment and I also understand that every conservative candidate who seems to have momentum will be attacked.

And I certainly didn’t miss the attacks on Perry. They were vicious.

I’m not buying their garbage. I fervently defended Mr. Cain when the first accusations emerged. Ditto the second ones and the third ones.

I’m sorry, I do not believe the man any more. So, since one of the main things people admired about him was his good, family man/god fearing image, when that image is gone, there’s not much left.

I truly feel bad for his faithful followers but I no longer trust him. Just one woman too many.

Jimmy Swaggart was a man of God and a preacher man too, as he was visiting whores in motel rooms on the QT, until caught.

Just remember as we go through all this: the mainstream press wants Obama. Period. They put their reputations behind him although they didn’t spend any time researching him or even asking questions they routinely ask of any other candidate. Now he’s astonishingly unpopular and — even with their best efforts to obfuscate — pretty much screwing up daily. But the “big media” must not be shown to be a bunch of partisan hypocrites, so they’ll stand by him till the bitter end. They’ll smear EVERY Republican candidate, of course, but if a Democrat challenged Obama, they’d smear them, too. This is a mainstream media gone crazy, and I think they’d do absolutely anything to prove they were “right” in ‘08.

Good for Cain for staying in the race.

And let’s all pray for him and his family.

Overreact much?

The fact was that Sarah couldn't take it and decided not to run. This may sound like a criticism but it isn't.
I was a Palin supporter and well understood the abuse she had received and I UNDERSTOOD why she decided to avoid even worse abuse for herself and her family by not running.
Stating I was a Palin supporter should have made this obvious as there were no words from me saying anything otherwise.

If you would pause long enough to pull your head out of your rectum and take a few remedial reading comprehension classes perhaps you may discover this thing called “obvious.”

I couldn’t have taken near the abuse Sarah endured and I don't have young ones anymore to worry about.
I have always understood and respected her decision of-”To heck with it it just ain't worth it!”

Well you know, I really, really want to explain that to you.
Except that I already have, and I hate repeating myself. Why not just look back at my prior posts, try as hard as you possibly can, and see if you can’t figure it out for yourself.

You crack me up. You've made the statement that Cain can't sue because it would cause his favorable numbers to drop, then any time you're pushed you just say you already answered that. The inability to back up your statement when questioned isn't a sign of superior intellect or logic skills.

By all means, keep telling yourself that "poor Herman Cain can't sue because suing would make his favorable numbers plummet" (they already are). How far do they have to plummet without suing before this line of reasoning falls apart?

To go back to my analogy, what you’re saying is that because the pool isn’t full, Cain should empty it the rest of the way. Moreover, you’re advocating he not merely open the drain but blow it open w a shotgun. Excuse me, but unless the pool is empty, why drain it completely? And why make it not difficult but impossible to refill? A semi-intelligent conservative could grasp this simple concept right away. You are either dense or not a conservative. Yes, that is my assessment, and I stand by it.

Cain is a good, likeable, truly conservative candidate who has the capacity to rebound, especially in the current field. You want him to destroy his chances utterly. I can see why. Your attitude toward him is sickening. You creep me out. I cannot imagine any conservative having a protracted exchange w you and NOT being creeped out. Why not take your Cain hatred to DU??? It would Fit Right In.
