ATLANTA -- Herman Cain on Monday pre-emptively denied a forthcoming accusation by a woman who is expected to say she had a 13-year affair with the Republican presidential candidate.
In an apparent effort to get ahead of the story, Cain appeared in a cable news interview to say the woman is "someone who I know, who is an acquaintance, who I thought was a friend."
MyFoxAtlanta.com released some details of the story, which is scheduled to air Monday night, shortly after Cain appeared on CNN -- identifying the accuser as an Atlanta businesswoman named Ginger White.
"It was pretty simple," White told the station. "It wasn't complicated. I was aware that he was married. And I was also aware I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship."

This one concerns me because it is now going beyond harassment.
I like Cain and have been supporting him up to now, but I just do not know what to do here.
I don’t like anybody else except maybe could stand Newt. But, he has his own problems.
It gets concerning when there are this many stories. A couple can be false, but at some point, there has to be some truth.
I saw a documentary on the subject. It had a guy who was a polygraph administer for the police for decades. He said that the polygraph is 100% BS and is just used to scare people into confessions. It reads heart rates to see if people are getting nervous and gives the cops avenues to travel down in further questioning. There were a string of test subjects that the guy said he could get to pass a poly no matter what and he did. Apparently you can control all of this by clenching you butt cheeks a certain way during base line questions that will throw the hole test off and give the cops nothing to work with.

The woman supposed had a 13-year affair with this man, and all she can show as “proof” is a phone bill showing cell phone and text messages? So she has his number. Big deal. I have phone numbers for men in my cell phone address book, too, and I’m not having affairs with any of them. She says that he flew her around the country to be with him, and showered her with gifts. So lets see them. Where are the gifts? Airline boarding passes? Love letters? Pictures? Concert ticket stubs? Witnesses? Hmmmmmmm? C’mon, 13 years. Ya gotta do a lot better than that.
So, anybody they don’t want they can just line up a string of bimbos to claim this out-of-control, type A, oversexed black man attempted to mount them? That’s what they’re saying. That’s why they think this will be effective. If we let Herman down (assuming he doesn’t come out tomorrow and admit to it), then we have no chance, no defense against this tactic. THAT MAN has been to this well at LEAST twice, in the SAME ELECTION, and he’s going to keep going to it until it doesn’t work.

I also know Perry is a true man of character no matter what some say here on FR. He also has a very strong social conservative background.
In this election we must put a candidate up against Obama with w record to contrast Obama. If we put up Newt or Mitt there is no real reason to vote for those two, but Perry actually can say "I created jobs in Texas while Obama lost jobs and this is how I did it and this is how I will do it."
Obama cannot debate, he needs a teleprompter just to talk to 6th graders. Screw that son of a bitch. Let's put the best candidate with the best record and the best plan to get DC off our back and restore our greatness. Not some has been insider like Newt who ran to promote his brand and not Mitt who ran to complete his resume but Perry who ran because this country is in deep shit and he saw all his parents and grandparents had worked for, his and America's heritage being sold in DC! That is why Perry is running.
I take it you missed the *entire* Democrat primary season in 2008, when Obama performed very well in the debates.

Yes, mine too and he certainly is feared. The secret service have their work cut out for them now. I hope he shows some of that steel in his spine and stands tall through this garbage. I will never vote for Romney.
