I think it's going to be eight simultaneous one-on-one debates between Wolf Blitzer and each Republican candidate.

I hope Wolfie has some good, entertaining retorts for responding to Newt’s pilloryings of the MSM/host(s).

Maybe Ron Paul, who is a frontrunner in Iowa and New Hampshire, will get more than 90 seconds.

I’d rather all of these were a Newt style debate.

It will be interesting to see what Blitzer pulls out of his bag of tricks tonight. To be honest, I thought his last M.C. job was perhaps the best of the M.C.’d debates so far.
It was head and shoulders above the other gotcha efforts by the various leftist media outlets.

Since they're talking about 'national security' tonight, this should be required viewing of everyone on that stage. In fact, this gal SHOULD BE on that stage...

Mitt will be all ‘Won’t ANYBODY, someone save us from these terrible peasants?!’, Newt will jack Perry’s State Rights, 10th Amendment once again, and goose Cain out of a couple blunders, Ron Paul will get 110db applause as the now recognized leader of OX, Bachmann will rightly be disgusted to be in this den again, Perry will detail Obama’s head on a pike (and mean it and be capabale of delivering it, Huntsman will try to pick up Romney’s slack, and Santorum will align with Bachmann.

Blitzer will have to be careful, because he's not running for office and has no business engaging the candidates in the debate itself, beyond posing the questions.
