NEW YORK -- Hundreds of Muslims prayed in a lower Manhattan park and marched to New York Police headquarters today to protest a decade of police infiltrating mosques and spying on Muslim neighborhoods.
Bundled in winter clothes, men and women knelt as the call to prayer echoed off the cold stone of government buildings.

The NYPD should simply release the text of their top ten favorite sermons from that period.
Then the INS should deport those that they can and bring charges against the rest for applicable charges.

Gee. I think of myself as an American first and than a christian Jesus said: "Give tribute to Caesar what is Caesars, and to God what belongs to God." Elsewhere Christians are instructed to obey authority (fortunately we live in a Democracy where we have the opportunity to determine our own leaders).
However, that is a far cry from putting the State "first" and our Faith "second." The early Church was persecuted for refusing to worship Caesar, and biblical prophecy speaks of the Man of Sin who as a political leader will demand to be worshiped.
We must keep our priorities straight: Christianity requires the worship of Jesus as Lord and Savior - not the State. We will soon be led astray if we "put country first and God second."
