What you are doing is trolling. If you have a point to make, feel free to make it.

“I’m the anti-Washington-establishment candidate. That’s why so few in Washington are for me.”

What a big fat load of $#!#. And what he said wasn’t worth much, either. Newt is a cheating flip-flopping Dede Scozzafaza lovin’ weasel who, if he even gets on the ticket, will be the worst candidate since Eagleton.

.
That’s because he favors a global government, with its seat of power in Europe.

Awright, since you are unable to comprehend the stories I posted and need me to lay it out for you...Newt Gingrich is an opportunistic RINO who sells out Conservatives whenever it benefits him. Many folks around here have become fixated on all the pretty words he spouts during these so-called "debates" and seem perfectly willing to sweep his recent statements and record under the rug, even when it is patently obvious that he is once again playing them for fools.

Got it now?

ROFLMAO! Yeah, maybe he WAS telling the truth, they just punctuated it incorrectly. What he really said was, “I’m the anti-Washington, establishment candidate!”

Actually, what you’re doing is trolling.

Timber Rattler has posted valid information, while you attempt to cover up Newt’s deeply global socialist past, and his destruction of the conservative wing of the GOP during his stint as Speaker.

I love Newt’s logic and insight. But as much as we want to ignore the baggage, it’s going to be a huge problem. Look what just happened to Cain based on a few half-baked allegations.

Wait till a whole new generation learns about Newt’s marriages. Forget the breakups. The marriages alone will keep the talking heads going for weeks. Everyone was scandalous at the onset, and those are the facts. Even Newt would agree with that statement.

Having said that, I’d still vote for him if he was the candidate. I am just warning everyone here, especially you younger Freepers. You aint seen nothin’ yet!

Sorry, no I don't, and I'm not about to sift through your reading list looking for some vague idea that ties it all together. Is it that Gingrich and Mark Levin once disagreed on something? Is it that Gingrich was losing donors this past summer? Is it that Gingrich warned Palin to drop the "Community Organizer" crap because it wasn't working with the moderates? What? The man has been a public figure for almost 40 years, I get it that he's done and said some things that you and I disagree with. What is it that bothers you specifically, and who is your alternative?

Timber Rattler has posted valid information, while you attempt to cover up Newt’s deeply global socialist past, and his destruction of the conservative wing of the GOP during his stint as Speaker.

Please. This person has cut and pasted a bunch of links to several stories and then posted them to multiple threads without commentary. Some of them are completely out of date. This forum is about ideas, opinions, and discussion, not heavy-handed attempts at character assassination.

Newt is a backstabbing RINO.

...and who is your alternative?

I'm writing in Sarah Palin, and then will sleep comfortably that night.

Its more like Grinchrich and Mark Levin disagree on just about everything Newt has done or supported.

Washington Post archive-Gingrich Ethics probe

Care to summarize WaPo's account of said ethics probe, or do you accept my digest in post 15 (i.e. the whole thing was a baseless witchhunt).

So which of those stories, most originally posted at FR within the past six months, are false?

So posting Newt’s history is character assassination?

Newt has made his bed, now let him sleep in it. There is no other Republican congressman that has done so much harm to the Nation, or to conservative principles.

More correctly, they disagreed on one thing: Gingrich's summary of Paul Ryan's Medicare proposal, but if you feel you need to lie to make your point, so be it. They agree on virtually everything else, and when they don't Levin takes Gingrich to task in the most entertaining way possible, because that is his job.

I think you're going to need to go back and re-read my post. Try and see if you can find the spot where I called anything "false." I sure can't.

Hmmmm...then what do you mean by "character assassination"? And I take it that you are perfectly fine with his RINO record and statements? Or do you simply choose to ignore them because it is convenient for you?

Newt is damaged goods. There is no way he can win a national election. The only chance we have is with Cain. I just wish my fellow conservatives would not be so quick to abandon the Cain train based on an obvious orchestrated lie by the liberal media. If we don’t stop being so easily swayed by the lib media then we will never be able to nominate our own candidate and may as well turn it over to MSNBC to pick the GOP candidate.
