Hello America, I am Rick Perry (Karl Rove hates me aint that worth somethin?)
I Love you Cincinatis
Missed this debate; didn’t know it was on tonight.
This is so stupid. How many people have had a thought slip their mind. Yes he was on national stage but this is human. It happens. I am no fan of Perry but I am less of a fan of this unimportant stuff taking up headlines.
Has anyone noticed that Europe is crashing financially. It would be far more important to ask Perry and the rest how they plan to protect the U.S. economy if it does.
3”E”’s Perry...Education, Energy and the EPA...it was a simple no brainer...oh well you can still go back to being governor...
Na, na, na, na
NA, NA, NA, NA
Hey, hey... Good By
I didn’t see the debate tonight, and I’m not a Perry fan, but I think this sounds like a reasonable and responsibility-taking answer to effing up a question.
Perry haters drinking their Romney Kool-Aid tonight!
Too young for a senior momment. Musta just vapor-locked.
We have a good speaker in the White House now~~~how’s that working!!!!!
I’ll take gaffe prone Perry over Obama anytime!
FYI Perry did go to the spin room. Good for him.
As I said on the live debate thread, on several occasions I’ve heard Rush reach for a word or a name and couldn’t pull it out. If you’re human it going to happen to you. Perry did well in the debate otherwise.
“I may have forgotten Energy, but I haven’t forgotten my conservative principles.”
He has gone from forgetful to delusional as Perry has never had conservative principles.
I remember a really embarrassing moment for Sarah when she, as Governor, held a press conference while, unknown to her, a worker was slaughtering turkeys in the background. The media had a field day with that.
It is now between Gingrich and Cain for me now.
Don't fret your little ol' self Ricky my boy, remember you still have your core base of support to fall back on
Thinking on one's feet is just part of the job of being President. We simply cannot afford to have a Republican President making constant gaffes in press conferences, in negotiations with foreign dignitaries, or (for example) speaking in international fora. The press would have a field day to the point that it would be hugely damaging to conservative members of Congress as well anyone he might endorse in a state or local election. He is simply unacceptable on this criterion alone.
Perry has had ample opportunity to get it together and has failed, thus casting serious doubt on his electability as well. With his numbers this low, it is not going to get any better now.
He obviously had a General Protection Fault right on stage tonight.
Abort, Retry, Fail?
Cheers!
I am sorry for what happened with Perry last night. I know so many FReepers had their hopes tied to this candidate, and this was no way I wanted to see his campaign end.
