The bizarre rant from Illinois congressman Joe Walsh came after he was grilled during an informal surgery in a bar about the lack of regulation which ultimately allowed banks to bet against their own customers.
Cutting off the man, the father-of-five yelled: 'I am tired of hearing that c**p. Don't blame the banks... that p***** me off.'

As your name suggests, I too am wide awake and cannot for the life of me figure out when the word surgery became synonymous with meeting.
Joe Walsh
Sheriff Joe
Joe “You Lie” Wilson
“Joe” always has been a good solid American name.
Joe Biden being the exception ;)
Trying to figure it out myself.
Good for him!
Bizarre rant, my eye!
thank you
Surgery can be Brit-speak for an office. But how ridiculous! I read this over and over again and it doesn’t make sense - even with that explanation.
That means that the surgeons wore blue jeans, and t-shirts while operating on Joe, were having beer while doing so, and had Joe’s butt on the grill, cooking, all at the same time.
It’s known as multi-tasking. Hope that cleared things up for ya.
Walsh missed an opportunity. There is no shortage of regulations on banks and other financial institutions. They are drowning in them.
Somehow we are going to have to counter this false “deregulation” meme. New regulations are BELCHING out of the White House every hour.
Joe the plumber... ;)
‘life’s been good to me so far’ oh different Joe Walsh
I sometimes think of running for office. Then I think about what happens when my rather long fuse finally reaches the end...
I can easily see myself in this conversation:
Advisor: The President would like your support on XXXXX.
Me: F*** the President.
Advisor: The mike is on.
Me: Whooops.
Good for Joe! Well done!
lolol. Good one. My take:
Advisor: The President would like your support on XXXXX.
Me: F*** the President.
Advisor: The mike is on.
Me: I know. That’s why I held back on how I really feel.
This nation needs more like Joe Walsh in Congress. Walsh was 100% correct in that clip. It’s about time the true blame for the banking mess is exposed and the ignorant sponges who continue to parrot the lies of the left face more shouting down.
