A woman who settled a sexual harassment complaint against GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain in 1999 complained three years later at her next job about unfair treatment, saying she should be allowed to work from home after a serious car accident and accusing a manager of circulating a sexually charged email, The Associated Press has learned.
Karen Kraushaar, 55, filed the complaint while working as a spokeswoman at the Immigration and Naturalization Service in the Justice Department in late 2002 or early 2003, with the assistance of her lawyer, Joel Bennett, who also handled her earlier sexual harassment complaint against Cain in 1999. Three former supervisors familiar with Kraushaar's complaint, which did not include a claim of sexual harassment, described it for the AP under condition of anonymity because the matter was handled internally by the agency and was not public.
To settle the complaint at the immigration service, Kraushaar initially demanded thousands of dollars in payment, a reinstatement of leave she used after the accident earlier in 2002, promotion on the federal pay scale and a one-year fellowship to Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, according to a former supervisor familiar with the complaint. The promotion itself would have increased her annual salary between $12,000 and $16,000, according to salary tables in 2002 from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.

Question for All:
So many reports are saying that there were 2 employment termination agreements involving Cain at the NRS (I even heard one idiot feminazi say “3” yesterday on my local radio station). Obviously this Krushnaar(sp) women is one, and I know that no other woman has stepped forward...
Has the NRA or Cain EVER substantiated 2 employment termination agreements related to Cain and involving harassment complaints? Can anyone point to any affirmation of this by NRA, Cain or any independent source?
THANK YOU!
Has anyone actually pulled her voter registration info? You can’t access it online without a date of birth.
When will someone step forward and accuse this woman of the actual crime here.
It is blackmail and extortion.
If there is a political behind this, we need to find them out and bring them to justice.
It is one thing to ‘dig up dirt,’ but this is really beginning to look like a criminal act to me.
We write them all the time after firing someone for poor performance.
Bennet is about make another statement...coming up on FOX.
Watch out, Puddleglum, you may be next on her list.
You implied something about her liking horses. Did you mean like Catherine the Great? Can you prove you didn’t mean that? I didn’t think so. /s
When she wanted to be able to harass Cain publicly without making her own name public, I posted that maybe she'd repeated her successful attack somewhere else. I really didn't expect to be proven right so quickly, though it looks like the second attempt didn't work out.
As I recall, Hercules (Heracles) diverted a river to clear those stables. The modern equivalent is a gigantic wave of pink slips.
Did you hear it? I missed it.
I have been looking and looking for any proof of a 2nd agreement. Politico is the only source of that.
As for Politico’s 2nd woman, they based her story on one phone call, but haven’t been able to get a hold of her since.
NRA did not confirm 2 settlements.
Thank you for the reply. I too have been looking and can find zero substantiation of any “2nd” employment termination agreement, harassment settlement, or anything of that nature.
As some others have said, it seems to me as though there are 2 women involved: Bialek and Kraushaar, both of whom, as we all know, have highly suspect histories, as do their RAT lawyers.
The Politico reporter slipped and referred to the 2nd woman as "Sharon in Chicago".
When asked about this, Bialek wouldn't deny it and her attorney changed the subject.
That lawyer Bennett was on FOX a few minutes ago and the screen said FOX News Alert.
What did he say?
I should have included you on my last reply:

This guy really gets around. Does he represent every single female malcontent in DC, or what?
And Congressional defunding, exactly.
Greedy public sector puke....we pay the freight for these fun and games. She was transferred to Treasury (probably) to get rid of her. I'll bet she does jack at Treasury and just counts the days until cashing in for retirement
Just as we expected. Chronic sexual harassment suers. They figure, hey it worked once....
Thanks for ‘fessing up to some of the fits and foibles of the fairer sex. A relative of mine is psychologist and I hear stories about how the women rule his office and spend mucho time scheming. In fact they want to get rid of him but that ain’t gonna happen. One woman boss blew a million dollars via financial mismanagement. Power goes to their heads a lot easier than with guys
