A woman who settled a sexual harassment complaint against GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain in 1999 complained three years later at her next job about unfair treatment, saying she should be allowed to work from home after a serious car accident and accusing a manager of circulating a sexually charged email, The Associated Press has learned.
Karen Kraushaar, 55, filed the complaint while working as a spokeswoman at the Immigration and Naturalization Service in the Justice Department in late 2002 or early 2003, with the assistance of her lawyer, Joel Bennett, who also handled her earlier sexual harassment complaint against Cain in 1999. Three former supervisors familiar with Kraushaar's complaint, which did not include a claim of sexual harassment, described it for the AP under condition of anonymity because the matter was handled internally by the agency and was not public.
To settle the complaint at the immigration service, Kraushaar initially demanded thousands of dollars in payment, a reinstatement of leave she used after the accident earlier in 2002, promotion on the federal pay scale and a one-year fellowship to Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, according to a former supervisor familiar with the complaint. The promotion itself would have increased her annual salary between $12,000 and $16,000, according to salary tables in 2002 from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.

University of Oregon 1964...History of Western Civilization...Girl on the front row with short skirt, no undies and legs spread, until the little old professor looks over the podium and says, “Young lady, would you mind closing the Gates of Hell?”
Looks like there’s a pattern here. Not by Herman Cain but by his accuser. Ya think the press will apologize?
That’s life in America today, friends. It’s like a bad joke.
Wow,,,no matter where she goes she gets sexually harassed. lol
I suppose that is a possibility here as well. Never hurts to ask, though...
She knows an age-old truth: horses keep secrets. The horse cannot tell what it knows. Of course an attorney might ask "how times did he makes a pass at you?" and the horse might stamp his back hoof - one, two, three - "are you sure there wasn't one more time?" The horse pauses, thinks, then stomps once more. She strokes his mane gently. "No further questions," Allred concludes.
I think “floozie” is the perfect term to describe Sharon Bialek.
Kudos! I will use that henceforth. “The Chicago Cain-accuser floozie” works.
It is thanks to these kind of bitches that we now have HR departments. Scourge of the workplace. Having been a manager, women complain 20 times more than men about anything and everything. Check your company for carpal tunnel complaints. Ours were 100% female yet we ALL had computers.

Yea, terrible luck on her part. I’m starting to like the old journalistic standards where they ignored gold diggers like these and only published when there was something solid, like an arrest.
Not surprised. Washington D.C. is full of professional whiners. I’ve lived and worked there.
The government awards sick days for the accident. The agency may allow the employee to go negative on sick days and earn them back later. I suppose she was alleging the accident was the agency’s fault.
Work-at-home agreements are approved and denied for a variety of reasons.
Kennedy School of Government? She either had a high grade level already or an inflated opinion of herself.
Cleaning out the Augean Stables that are the Federal Bureaucracy will be the toughest part of the job for a conservative President.
Hah!
What is becoming clear is that these bimbos are professional harassment litigants represented not only by DEMOCRAT lawyers but by ACTIVIST Democrat lawyers, namely Bennett and Allred.
Where there’s one lawsuit, there’s more.
All this talk the past week or so about sexual harassment reminds me of when I worked for the Antitrust Div. About halfway thru the Clinton administration, when the suits at Main Justice became very concerned that they weren’t getting many sexual harassment complaints from the Division. They sent teams to all the sections explaining what sexual harassment is. It never occurred to them that MAYBE there wasn’t much sexual harassment going on in the Division.
NPR “journalists” report her as a Republican and it takes FReepers literally 20 seconds to show that her only recorded political donation was to the DNC.
What a crock.
...and why am I NOT surprised by this?
Thanks for the clarification indylindy.
Yoi! :-)
