Sick of the Attacks on Herman Cain (Vanity)

Listening to the attacks on Herman Cain from the right is making my blood boil. Everyone knows that sexual harrassment charges can be nothing more than undeserved leverage on upper management by greedy and unscrupulous co-workers. It isn't always that way but can be used to realize a nice payday from a harmless gesture or suggestion. Oh, the horror that a man may have come onto a woman in the workplace. I'm surprised the birthrate hasn't declined to zero. Perhaps that's the plan. The election of Herman Cain would be a repudiation of such draconian practices.
Here's the thing about Cain that our friends in the Republican establishment doesn't understand and that is that Cain is actually likeable. Romney comes across as a talking calculator and as much as Obama is starting to give the public cause for worry, you can bet that tjey won't accept someone with the personality of a robot. Cain comes across as much more human and I think that Republicans understand so far that he's tap dancing around the harrassment because he absolutely has to to soothe the public's poor wittle feelings.
Cain is much more genuine and I think voters sense that. Republicans are favorable towards Cain because their gut tells them to be. There's way too much secrecy surrounding Obama and the Republican establishment seems to ignore it and even condone it.
In Herman's case, at least even if he has made some mistakes, they can actually be found. And if this is the worst he has done, then he's a perfect candidate. One gets the feeling that Herman cares about this country much more than thedead-eyed politcians on Capital Hill.

Like liberals, the RINOs and like supporters degrade to the gutter. Can’t win on facts, can’t win on truth. So they go negative.
Check that. Not like Liberals...they ARE liberals.

Those attacks on Herman Cain are from the Jim Crow gang from the GOP establishment liberals, Rove, Romney and Perry's psychopath supporters and campaigns , the DNC, and the MSM, all of the same group and mold.

Everyone gets attacked here. Don’t let it bother you.

And ? they pretend that they are pure and innocent as the wind driven snow when they are called out on it.

Oh hell yes. On one of the other threads tonight there’s a couple of that type just incised that they are being called on their BS. Hit dog howls.
Nauseating. They are better suited to DU than here IMO.

The claim he verbally made a lady uncomfortable 20 years ago? I wish we could get the details about conversations 20 years ago with Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorn instead.

I wish we could get the media to find out about the conversations between them and the leader from 2008 also, how did he get into Columbia, Occidental and Harvard, what were is grades and who ghost wrote his books.

I believe this issue is over with and Cain has moved on...we have a long way to go until August and I hope the republicans unite (great debate last night between Newt and Cain) and get rid of the scumbag in the White House. That being said...stand by as the media will go after every candidate running in the top 3 with new garbage and anything can happen. The American people trust the media about as much as they trust the govt...very little anymore

Even Fox News has been pretty sickening on this, too. I am thoroughly disgusted by the reporting on all sides. There is no THERE there but the un-story just keeps going on. Barf!! Let’s get on with the campaigns!!!

I’m hopeful that this entire scandal will fade, but I’m also braced for the worst: I don’t care much about any kind of sexual misdeeds myself at this moment:
STOP THE RAPE OF THE TAXPAYER! STOP THE RAPE OF THE BORDER! STOP THE RAPE OF OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM!
I don’t think Perry or Romney are all that concerned about the BIG rapes of our entire freaking NATION! So even if Cain were a serial rapist, I’d still support the man. Heck! No brainer so far as I’m concerned. We can’t afford to be too picky when 90% of our political pros prostitute themselves.

Fithcal Conthervatism - Herman Cain edition.
====================
TP: Mr. Cain, you recently came under fire for your comments about the kind of people you would appoint to your cabinet. Would you be opposed to appointing an openly gay but qualified person to be in your cabinet?
CAIN: Nope, not at all. I wouldnt have a problem with that at all. I just want people who are qualified, I want them to believe in the Constitution of the United States of America. So yep, I dont have a problem with appointing an openly gay person. Because theyre not going to try to put sharia law in our laws.

HERMAN: What happens now?
Scott Toomey: Well, now, uh, Ken Mehlman, R. Clarke Cooper, Meghan McCain, Mary Cheney and I wait until nightfall, and then leap out of the Fithcally Conthervative log cabin, taking The Party(tm) by surprise -- not only by surprise, but totally unarmed!
HERMAN: Who leaps out?
Scott Toomey: Uh, Ken Mehlman, R. Clarke Cooper, Meghan McCain, Mary Cheney and I. Uh, leap out of the log cabin, uh and uh....
HERMAN: Oh....
Scott Toomey: Oh.... Um, l-look, if we built this large wooden Rhinocerous -- [twong]
ALL: Run away! Run away! Run away! Run away!

Cain is a political salesman, not a conservative; and if it hadn't been
for Log Cabin RINOs nailing him the perch, his campaign train would've
been pushing up daisies in the wheelhouse before the cabose even got out of the yard.

about 20 years ago, i had a harassment complaint filed against me.... i talked to a woman (pregnant) and told her she ordered the wrong steel...she filed a complaint and said that I was trying to pick her up ( did i mention she was pregnant ) fortunately I had a number of witnesses to the so called incident. I went through an investigation, and was surprised they did not take a pint of my blood. When I was cleared, and it was proven to be a false accusation, do you think they fired her? NO. I do not believe ANY complaint of sexual harassment. It is a ploy to try and put the “man” in his place...
