Check out the Facebook page for Men's Wearhouse, whose Oakland store closed for one day out of support for the Occupy Movement. From what I understand, the store was not looted but they may well have lost a lot of customers. Who shops at MW anyway, hippies or hard working capitalists? Join the fun.

Broken glass is shown at a Men's Warehouse building in downtown Oakland, Calif., Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 after a Occupy Wall Street protest earlier. Cleanup work is under way at Oakland's city hall plaza the morning after a massive anti-Wall Street protest turned violent and chaotic. Graffiti is covering a number of businesses in the immediate area around Frank Ogawa Plaza, where thousands had gathered for a mostly peaceful protest Wednesday. Some windows also are broken, and debris is littering the street. "I love the sound of breaking glass"--Dave Edmunds
"Riot, the unbeatable high/ Tomorrow you're homeless, tonight it's a blast"--(Bay Area's) The Dead Kennedys

Please post your messages of dissent on the Men’s Wearhouse Facebook page. They need to get the message loud and clear.

The OWS crowd don’t strike me as the suit-and-tie types.

There is a Mens Wearhouse adjacent to Zuccotti Park. Let’s see if they will follow suit (no pun intended) and do the same thing. They obviously sell to the Wall Street crowd given their location.

Good job Occupiers--the last time I saw unrest like this, here was how the next pres. election turned out:

We could say the same about the riots of the ‘60s. There were only certain disburbances in certain neighborhoods of our major cities after Dr. King was shot. Only certain parts of Detroit were destroyed during the ‘67 riot there. Etc. etc. We can be selective if we want to spin things.

Used car salesmen who want to look conservative. You can do better at JC Penny.I do my shopping at the Haggar Factory Store (Grapevine Mills Mall). Great selection, excellent prices.

I have an honest question...sorry if I already missed the answer. Are the stores all owned by Zimmer, or are they franchises? I’d hate for one local store owner or manager (maybe even without Zimmer’s knowledge) to shut down because he’s a libtard, and then ALL the other stores get boycotted when they in fact don’t share the same viewpoint.

Not sure about individual stores, but the one in Oakland in particular was reported as being a corporate and not franchise store.

Thanks for the info. It’s tough enough for businesses out there, and I’d hate to punish the innocent.

Yes, I saw that later. Initially, I saw only the headline in recent posts with someone else's comment.
