OAKLAND -- Protesters have effectively shut down maritime operations at the Port, Director Omar Benjamin said at a media briefing Tuesday, as more than 4,000 people are at the gates.
The crowd stretched several blocks down Middle Harbor Road leading into the port as they begin their attempt to shut down the port for start of the 7 p.m. night shift.

It’s disgusting that the city of Oakland is letting this pack of tattoed freaks and masked goons get away with destroying businesses (even including ones like Whole Foods, which treat their employees with TLC) and terrorizing citizens.
I’m really disgusted. The city has a responsibility to its citizens and its businesses, and it is abandoning this responsibility entirely.

I’ve not been to Oakland in decades, but my perception is that they aspire to be the west coast version of Detroit.
If I remember correctly isn’t disrupting the economic activity at the ports of the United States with this type of violence and interference an act of terrorism?

If they block the port, they’re interfering with State & Federal commerce on which OTHER workers jobs depend on.

People are going to get hurt. They claim they are “not violent” but they are oppressively obstructive and as such, they are stealing other people’s right to make a living.
Because it’s a declaration of non-violent warfare/theivery on other people, it necessarily requires some form of violence or force to get rid of them.
