Any Repub who was a part of the smear should step aside.

Romney will never step aside. He's been running for President since 2006!

What do you want to bet? My money is still on Perry to win the nomination. I propose that you make a donation to FR if he wins and I'll make a donation if he doesn't. I'm already a monthly donor so this will be an additional donation. how does $50.00 sound?

You're on.

I am convinced now that Cain has been railroaded, and he may just be the best guy left standing...However I did not believe the liberal MSM polls before, and still do not now

Make no mistake, Rasmussen and Fox are both liberal polls as well!

There are no honest pollsters, MSM/REP EST they all have an agenda

OK...we can call a winner whenever any candidate wins enough delegates to ensure the nomination! Either way FR gets a donation...

I can’t speak for others, but the slithering GOP will never have my support again.

I don’t believe that they are this stupid and strategically inept. That would mean they are quite simply the largets collection of blithering moron politicans ever assembled, but that is not the case.

They are in league with the democrats, they are doing this on purpose, this is kabuki theater designed to fool us.

Game is over, GOP.

Right you are.

And the interesting thing is that this is the only tactic they know of, which guarantees even more Cain lies and half-truths, which will inturn solidify and widen his base even more.

On the rock, Cain said that the name of the camp was insensitive and this was twisted to make it out that he called Perry insensitive. I believe this echos what Perry said about the rock.

On the debate question, I thought I remembered “as a businessman” being in there, but cannot seem to locate any verifiable copy of the question and answer.

9-9-9 may not be perfect, but it sure has got the others responding with ideas - as a leader should do.

I put a monthly reminder on my Outlook calendar starting in March and added a note to remind/notify you if I need to make the donation.

It’s nice to see SC favoring a conservative black man for the nomination. My favorite, because of his 10 year success as governor is Perry. But the media has all but destroyed his chances. He’s treated like the female version of Sarah Palin, who the media was scared of, so her character and reputation was smeared and the RINOs went right along with the liberals in the hatchet-job. People will say Perry did it to himself, but that’s not my opinion. How many debates did GW Bush ever win in his life? You get my point. Perry is just a slow-talking Texan. A very successful conservative governor. The RINOs came out in full force to destroy him. Rove tried it when he backed the pro-abort Hutchinson over Perry in the governor’s race. It backfired. If not for Rove and company Perry would be leading in the SC polls. No doubt in my mind. Cain is a good man, but does not have the executive experience that would lead me to support him over Perry or Gingrich. We have seen for the last three years what inexperience can do in the WHite House. Speaking of the allegations against Cain, I don’t think they amount to anything. Just my observation. Hopefully Cain has given his last interview and the story will go away.

One of the women wants to go public. It will be a 'he said she said' situation.

Will anyone believe her?? The Restaurant Assoc has already given him some very good support.

Will the voters fall for whatever that woman says?

Is a scandal which barely moves the needle really a scandal?

Reminds me of the "If a tree falls . . ." thingy.

If, indeed, this smear was a result of RINO dirty tricks, then the 10 point spread between Cain and Romney is poetic justice.

If Cain goes down you will have a big problem. Perry is no longer of any relevance and this is not about to change no matter what happens to Cain. If Cain goes down, which I don't think will happen, the race will be between Gingrich and Romney.
I think Pokopton is right, pgkdan.

When Perry first announced he was my first choice and I stuck with him through the debates as long as I could... until I just couldn't anymore. That speech in NH sealed it for me. I like the guy, I still do, but I'm sorry, he's the Howdy Doody candidate and has zero chance of winning anything. The nomination, the presidency... I wonder about his next run for governor.
