People who grew up and lived under Communist/Socialist repression would understandably be quite careful about expressing their opinions publicly. The way things are devolving in this country and around the world, it seems the new world order is a totalitarian-socialist hell hole. Those who escaped this crap just such a short time ago are recognizing it for what it is and some I have spoken to are very afraid for this country.
Some of the most anti-Liberal and anti-Democrat Party people I know are refugees from Communist countries. To them there is very little difference between the Democrat Party and communists.

It would have been great had the Russian posed this question to the protestors.
I love how they end up calling him racist, the fall back position when all else fails!
I wondered where they were when this all started and forgot that they might still be targets by their previous homeland government. However, I want to know how they vote and if they are willing to take up arms to protect themselves or our nation. I doubt they would even try to post info incognito on the web knowing they might still be targets.
My sister lives in a Russian immigrant area in a historic county here in eastern PA and the kids all drink and their parents are like the Latino immigrants who refuse to speak English. So much for immigration, even legally.
There is no perfect society. There are no perfect people. Critics say that greed is the driving force of capitalism. My answer is that envy is the driving force of socialism. Change to socialism is not an improvement on the imperfections of the current system.
These people need to be institutionalized. They tell a RUSSIAN he doesn’t know about Socialism!
I am fortunate to know several immigrants from the former USSR and East Bloc countries. They are a precious resource. Everyone in this country who is under 30 needs to hear from them, and to hear them often.

People like these could exist only in a society as tolerant as and wealthy as ours.
This kind of stupidity would be lethal in the environments they are espusing.
They are in effect an unfortunate side-effect of our peace and prosperity.
There's a reason Marx promoted a system of free government education.
That's because there is in fact very little difference anymore.
Ignorance is a lack of education and life experience ... which can be cure. Stupidity is permanent to the bone and usually incurable. These people epitomize the term STUPID.
Capitalism harnesses human nature for the overall benefit of all humans.
Socialism harnesses human nature for the empowerment of a very few and the detriment of all others.
