The recliners in place....my Mom says I did good. LOL!

Both can get out of them, altho they are guest chairs.. They were delivered right on time,
and the young men took the old sofa down to the garage. Lighting still to be determined.

Look almost the same color and style of our couch.

Mr. Beachy kept eyeing and trying the recliner/rockers. Probably just like those. LOL

But we have not room for them.

It’s raining right now, altho those driving into Anchorage are having snow issues. Maybe flurries later today. It’s not quite here yet. LOL!

The sofa had become a threat to anyone who sat on it that didn’t have super knees. This replacement by chairs quest only started last Tuesday night....my Dad took 3 tries to get off the sofa. My Mom said that was enough as she has seen guests have the same issue. So off I went to several stores, sitting in them, getting out of them (bad knees and all), taking pictures and letting them choose. Saturday they made the final choice....2 Lazy Boys. They each have their own Lazy Boy already, on swivels.

My Mom said she likes shopping like this. LOL!

I had to put new tires on one of my cars this year & I forgot how danged expensive they are! LOL

The AZ sun is hard on tires & batteries.

Well, Yep, I'm going to get new tires for the pickup this weekend.

Not much else is going on. My sister came down from the city for a brief visit.

You are so right. She’s thinking of bringing a sewing cabinet up from downstairs. She thinks it might be the right size...her grandfather (I think) made it. It has been claimed by my nephew, but my Mom said he doesn’t get it until she’s gone.

I’ll have to do some measuring tonight, unless they’ve already done it, and see about the fit. It does have a handle on top. Its shape is good to fit between the chairs.

Was in to see the orthopedist yesterday - stitches are out, brace is still on for another 2-3 wks. Saw the cardiologist this morning - all is well on the cardiac front.

How's it going with you this afternoon? I'm still at the office - will be heading out in about 15 minutes.
