We did some syrious damage to their reactor Iran and NK helped them build in 2007, don’t see why we wouldn’t act again.
Stupid fool, he won’t be satisfied until the US is in a real war, with Russia and China involved.
Juan McLame won’t be happy until President Omoslem has transformed the entire globe into a moslem caliphate.
First Egypt, Libya. Then Syria. Then the USA.
Thanks McCain, you douchebag.
Nope. No more war mongering.
NO!
Long past time for McStain to dry up and blow away.
So maybe we actually are better off with Obama than we might hgave been with McCain. Syria with 5 times the population of Libya, no pleas for us to intervene. Russia and China vetoing unlike their abstentions re Libya. We don’t need another ground war in the Middle East, John.
I think it’s about time to intervene in China. Their greenhouse gas emissions are way over the top, not to mention particulates. I mean, they show up in Seattle, you know? Isn’t that an act of war or something?
That is what McCain thinks. He suspended his campaign for President. Stated Obama would be a good President before any voting was done. And therefore basically throw the election to Obama. Now what did Johnny Boy get in return ? Well, the Roman Senate RINO/DINO click is using their Half Black man to basically get away with murder. And that is a shame.
I give you John McCain.
Dear Senator McCain, a few things to consider:
-Syria has over 600,000 troops under arms and lots of late model Russian equipment. It is, in a sense, an updated version of the army Saddam Hussein fielded in Desert Storm. A Gulf War 1-type coalition could smash the force, but you’re not going to dismantle Assad’s power base with just NATO airstrikes and a bunch of rebels shouting Allahu Akbar. So, where are you going to find the money, the allies, and the manpower to do all that?
-Russia and China both have veto power on the UN security council. China has been investing/trading with Syria fairly heavily in recent years, and the Russians have had strong ties with Damascus going back to the early 70’s, if not earlier. Moscow and Beijing aren’t likely to go along with your idea.
-Who steps in if Assad is forced out? Egypt and Libya aren’t really filling me with confidence right now, Senator.
-Have you forgotten about Iran? What is happening in Syria is deplorable. But what is happening in Iran is deplorable and represents a long-term threat to U.S. security and that of our Israeli allies. Do we spend more blood and treasure on Syria while Tehran continues to play its games?
Just so you know ... a mid-east caliphate is a done deal ... interesting times ahead. For the record Obama lit the fire.
I'm thankful McCain didn't win; I'm still stunned he was the GOP nominee. Yes, I technically voted for him but that was for Palin and I knew going in it was a fruitless protest vote here in CA.
Saving us all from a McCain presidency could be Obama's greatest contribution. It certainly saved the GOP!
