We did some syrious damage to their reactor Iran and NK helped them build in 2007, don’t see why we wouldn’t act again.

Stupid fool, he won’t be satisfied until the US is in a real war, with Russia and China involved.

How about you protect American and Mexican lives and demand that the Fast and Furious weapons your fellow Roman Senator gave to the Mexican Drug Cartels all get tracked down and collected. You still know who the straw buyers where, now don't you douche bag.

I think it’s about time to intervene in China. Their greenhouse gas emissions are way over the top, not to mention particulates. I mean, they show up in Seattle, you know? Isn’t that an act of war or something?

People look at 0bama and ask "why, God, did you let this happen?"

I give you John McCain.

Dear Senator McCain, a few things to consider:

-Syria has over 600,000 troops under arms and lots of late model Russian equipment. It is, in a sense, an updated version of the army Saddam Hussein fielded in Desert Storm. A Gulf War 1-type coalition could smash the force, but you’re not going to dismantle Assad’s power base with just NATO airstrikes and a bunch of rebels shouting Allahu Akbar. So, where are you going to find the money, the allies, and the manpower to do all that?

-Russia and China both have veto power on the UN security council. China has been investing/trading with Syria fairly heavily in recent years, and the Russians have had strong ties with Damascus going back to the early 70’s, if not earlier. Moscow and Beijing aren’t likely to go along with your idea.

-Who steps in if Assad is forced out? Egypt and Libya aren’t really filling me with confidence right now, Senator.

-Have you forgotten about Iran? What is happening in Syria is deplorable. But what is happening in Iran is deplorable and represents a long-term threat to U.S. security and that of our Israeli allies. Do we spend more blood and treasure on Syria while Tehran continues to play its games?

Unlike rebels in Libya, dissidents in Syria have generally not called for Western-led airstrikes on their government.

Boots on the ground in Syria.

First rumblings.

Late, but in order.

Final phase: Russia and China come home.

This stuff is playing out.

Crazy old stupid fool, and anyone else that agrees with this folly.

Bring all of our ground combat troops home, and let the locals give up THEIR lives to protect THEIR country. I’ve had enough of 10 years worth DYING and TRILLIONS in spending to protect everyone else’s ass, and getting absolutely NOTHING in return.

Ours need to be here protecting OUR country against the people that WILL bring down this country that are coming across the border DAILY!!!
