That reminds me of a morning when I didn’t need to be up early. I lived right down the block from a fire house, and sometime in the morning, sirens from two trucks sounded like it was an air raid. I’ve never woken up with a start and nearly fell out of bed like that before.

Yes we are. Just bought another new gun today. Between My Son in law and I, we now have 25 assorted Rifles, Shotguns and handguns. Various Calibers and sizes for different purposes.
Cases of ordinance, in a dry hidden location. Canned food, a couple hundred head of cattle, ATVs, Several horses, a couple of 4WD vehicles, a Gas storage tank, a diesel storage tank, a couple of generators.
Don’t have a HAM radio yet, but do have a couple of CB’s around from driving days. May need to look into that HAM radio thing though.
I’ve believed this jerk in the WH was going to try something along these lines since the day after he was elected. All you have to do is look at his friends to know what he has up his sleeve. Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Louis Farrakhan, and George Soros want this country destroyed. Every one of them has said so publicly. Why would we not believe their buddy in the WH isn’t going to try? He even said he was going to fundamentally change the country. Why would we not believe them?
I’m not looking to start a conflict, but I plan on being ready when one breaks out.

Not true. 468/Freq will give you the electrical length for a half wave. Double it for a full wave. I'm on 7.178 most evenings, I have a 126 foot (physical) half-wave dipole, I can fold it and make it a full-wave.
