Not true. 468/Freq will give you the electrical length for a half wave. Double it for a full wave. I'm on 7.178 most evenings, I have a 126 foot (physical) half-wave dipole, I can fold it and make it a full-wave.

I think I've had just one too many tonight. I meant to say I can double the length of the wire and fold it and have a full-wavelength antenna. Lots of ham's do just that, others use wire and resonators. Full wire length antenna's will always outperform wire/resonators.
