They were meant to be the saviours of the ailing network.
Rosie was supposed to bring back her famous chat show charm and Oprah was going to share the lessons she had learnt in 25 years of her show.
But the only lesson Oprah seems to be offering on her ailing channel OWN, is when the going gets tough, turn to drink.

The only thing I think of when I see, read or hear these two is YUCK.
Oprah blew it when she kissed Obama’s rear and Rosie has always been a nasty lowlife pig.
Maybe they could have Rosie tag team with Olberdork. It’s a winning team, they could get like... 50 or 60 viewers a night.

Since its been shown that Oprah judges by race, her ratings went down and her network is in debt...Like other entertainers she just couldn’t keep her mouth shut and entertain.....How many blacks have shows on her network...or is she more bigoted than she thought...against her own race.
You are right on the money!!! Oprah has diminished her career by hooking up with Obama and....Rosie wore out her welcome many years ago and continues her rant and rave fail act to this day!!! Look folks, no “celebrity” with wide acclaim should ever indulge in political activities openly. If Oprah or Rosie or George Clooney want to give millions of donations to POTUS Obama, that is fine, only do it discreetly in private, not publically!!! The just released “Ides of March” George Clooney’s latest film is a total flop!!!! Actually, it is not a bad film, but he has self bestowed the kiss of death on all his projects because of his political activities. No can do, when you are a biggie!!! Too many folks who do not agree with your politics, kiss you goodbye forever!!! That is exactly what happened to Oprah, Rosie, Clooney, Penn, Robbins, etc. they killed the goose that lays their golden eggs!!! Idiots!!!

She sort of screwed the pooch when she cancelled her show and now pretends that her new show is new.
Oprah is Oprah. She ain’t good at much else besides vapid “touch your inner self” new age narcissitic introspection that has no core and no limits. She was able to sell that when it had all the gimmicks of network daytime commercialism and bubble gum celebrity crap. You know, today we interview an utter odd-ball psycho, tomorrow a hollywood megastar, and the next day a senator, followed by a new age guru, then a show designed to sell things, etc.
That works because sheeple like that bread & circuses routine. But now she is pretending that she is actually somebody with wisdom.
She ain’t. Never has been. She knows how to make money and influence people - but she is a failure at what matters most in life. She has no family, no permanent enduring legacy other than having become a wealthy iconic guru of fads.
I almost forgot: she also has a fantasy that her “book club” was an intellectual exercise. It was definitely not. It was another faddish nothing that made a lot of money for her and the authors she canonized.
