Heart Attack Grill Owner Serves 8,000-Calorie Burger
By Mikaela Conley | ABC News Tue, Oct 11, 2011
If youre going to laugh in the face of obesity by opening a restaurant that serves an 8,000-calorie burger, you might as well open it in Sin City.
And thats just what Heart Attack Grill owner Jon Basso is doing. On Wednesday, the owner opens the doors to his third Heart Attack Grill location, this time in Las Vegas.
The restaurant offers a Quadruple Bypass Burger that contains four beef patties, cheese, bacon and reportedly, about 8,000 calories. Along with its staple sandwich, the menu offers a milkshake with the worlds highest butterfat content (garnished with a tab of butter) and flatliners fries that are deep fried in pure lard. People who weigh more than 350 pounds eat at the restaurant for free.

Hey Michael Moore!
I wonder what their “health burger” is like.
Only in America...
Wait till Aunt Jemima hears about this!!
Do the food police know about this? The owner will be strung up!
They used to have one in Mesa. They closed last year I think, they said the service wasn’t any good and the food was “Meh...”
Just picture moooooooochele and moore fighting over which one gets served firstwhile the drool in running down their chins.
Then again it would be alright as they will wash it down with a diet coke.

Take it off the bun, lose the mayo and ketchup. And fries deep fried in lard are much healthier than fries deep fried in artificially processed vegetable oils.
Personally I would also dump the cheese because if I’m going to eat cheese it’s going to be really good stuff. I would probably keep the bacon because I love it.
For some strange reason, I have a sudden hankerin’ for buns...
Eat there!!?? Pffft - I’d go there just for the scenery.
This thread is NOT useless.....
What the do gooders don’t understand is that NO ONE is forced to go in there. It seems more and more people hate freedom and want to limit it, including some on FR.
...needs more bacon....
To hell with assisted living/nursing homes when I'm a geezer! For what those cost, I'll move into a five-star hotel in Florida and hire some of these nurses to take care of me.
