it turns a rape victim into a murderer.

Sorry, but you're exactly right . . . anyone who contracts with a butcher to snuff the life of her unborn child is a MURDERER. You're messing with definitions that allow the child to be brutally murdered while the perp goes free.

Very callous thinking . . . also, exactly what the pro-murdering abortionists want . . . baby must die brutally; perp goes free There are thousands of families who'd be eager to adopt that baby instantly. The baby hasn't done a single solitary thing to deserve the butchering that goes on in these bloody abortuary hell-holes.

Laffer is the father of Clintonomics too.

Sales taxes squeeze small business.

Women who are impregnated by rape or incest should not be PRESSURED by anyone to abort their babies. Some fine individuals have resulted from such bad circumstances.

Love is stronger than death.

Exactly, if the fetus is the equivalent of a mole, wart, or cyst, than the gov has no business restricting a woman’s right to choose to remove it.

The gestating child builds all of his or her own tissues/body. The mother’s body is protection and sustenance source and makes none of the amniotic sac nor the body of the child.

Herman is pro-life through and through. He had the exact same position during his 2004 Senate campaign:

a sales tax will cost millions of small business jobs.

Please post study. Otherwise, I will say Cain's 9-9-9 plan will create 423 billion jobs. So there.

Better that humans not tamper with life at all.

Except in cases where capitol punishment is deserved. In the case of a rape/incest the punishment should be given to the guilty party and not the unborn innocent baby.

A sales tax here will do the same as a sales tax (VAT) did to europe

Disreagard the previous post. If you don't know the difference between a sales tax and a VAT, there's no reason to argue. Either you honestly don't know, which means you need to look into it more, you have looked into it more, which means you aren't bright enought to see the difference, or you know the difference, but want to spread disinformation because you oppose Cain. I bet on option 3, you know, but you like to lie.

A sales tax here will do the same as a sales tax (VAT) did to europe: Wipe out most small businesses, and small business is over 80% of American jobs.

This is a Democrat talking point. A value added tax is added to a product at every level of production and a sales tax only happens when the item is sold at retail. Currently businesses in the US do not pay a sales tax on items that they are going to resell when they purchase them.

I have also heard Herman state that this tax would only apply to new items. Used cars, estate sales, used homes, etc would be exempt.

“There has never been a case of an abortion saving the life of the mother, but abortions have cost the life of the mother over a million times.”

I’m so glad that you aren’t making the decisions when it comes to women’s lives. There are times when a pregnancy threatens a woman’s physical life. I’ve know many women who’ve lost their babies this way and they grieve.

My religion teaches that a woman *must* abort if the pregnancy threatens her life.

Which, BTW, is a great argument to use against a pro-choice candidate who talks about wanting to make abortion “rare”. If they don’t think abortion is murder, why do they think we should talk women out of it? We wouldn’t try to make removing moles “rare”. If Abortion is just removing unwanted tissue, and it is so safe we can do it in clinics, and so easy we can do it for $300, why would we ever want to spend money to make it “rare”?

The only reason they want to make it “rare” is because, deep down, they KNOW they are killing people, and it pains them, and they want it to stop, even though they like their jobs and they like the support of the abortion lobby. Like good Germans who knew they should oppose the gassing of jews, but they really thought Germany was going to be good for them and didn’t want to upset things.

This is such a bogus argument. I can’t think of a good reason why an abortion is necessary to save the life of a mother, and I have worked in a high-risk OB center. This is a total cop-out. What’s more, any religion that teached such a thing is undermining God’s will, Who created that baby & intends for the child to be born. What a relativistic, prideful, and arrogant “religion”.

Pro-lifers make a tactical error with the rape/incest exception.
So I guess you think people like me should have been aborted.

I am the product of a rape. Plus my mother was told after she had my older sister that if she got pregnant again it would kill her.

I thank God every day I am alive for my life, because if I was born after 1973 I would never have been born.

If a child should be murdered in the womb because their father committed a crime, then we should be putting to death all the children of those who have been convicted of crimes.

After all, when you abort a child that was created from the act of a rape or incest, you are in essance punishing the child for the crime of their faher.
