From the study:
Perry has been singled out for criticism 39 times - about twice the combined total of Herman Cain (9), Jon Huntsman (5), Ron Paul (4), Rick Santorum (1), Michele Bachmann (1), and Newt Gingrich (0) and 10 more than Mitt Romney (29).

Perry ping
It’s called Kharma.
La Raza Rick is a pro-ILLEGAL alien candidate who called conservatives ‘heartless’ for not agreeing with his pro-ILLEGAL alien positions. That will bring a lot of criticism, all due, and all all of his own doing.
Uh, what does calling someone out at a debate have to do with civility? That’s part of what debates are for, to draw contrasts. And Perry was an easy target for everyone, since it’s basically impossible to miss.
The point is that Perry was attacked constantly and never given a chance to outline any of his positive record and agenda.
How would you do in a debate, if the only question you get asked “when did you stop beating your wife”, then a follow up “you still didn’t answer, how much did you beat your wife and when did you stop” and so on? How are you going to find out anything about someone this way?
So, are you from Pennsylvania?
By all means, let us play by the Queens rules. Manners people, manners. LOL It isn’t polite to point out the elephant in the room.
This is my humble opinion.
Perry shot out in front when he announced. The media and other contenders came down on him like a ton of lead bricks.
Not being used to the national stage..he is frozen. I have heard him speak..he is not the idiot he appears to be. He is a good man.
That being said..I am backing Newt...today. It could change.
Perry will crush Obama if gets the nom.
Nobody asked Perry a vile, untrue question like that. (The only really assholish comment is from Huntsman last debate). They asked him about supporting in-state tuition for illegals (which he does) and then he called conservatives heartless. I mean come on, this was his “attack” on Romney, who is perhaps the most transparently phony conservative ever.
RICK PERRY: I think Americans just don’t know sometimes which Mitt Romney they’re dealing with. Is it the Mitt Romney that was on the side of against the Second Amendment before he was for the Second Amendment? Was it — was before he was before the social programs, from the standpoint of he was for standing up for Roe v. Wade before he was against Roe v. Wade? He was for Race to the Top, he’s for Obamacare, and now he’s against it. I mean, we’ll wait until tomorrow and — and — and see which Mitt Romney we’re really talking to tonight.
Yes.
Do you think for one moment that the general is going to be easier?
Who ever wins the nomination will be palinized to the point of no more meat, just the exposed bones. He better get the "experience" in while the gettin is good.
These debates are merely a warm up circle for the main event.
He deserved the criticism.
What pathetic whining.
- I don’t like Cain’s 9-9-9 plan. I don’t like some of his positions, but at least he hasn’t called me heartless for not agreeing with him

IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

Here. Try this and get the straight scoop. You make it sound like perry was pure as the driven snow here. But here is the full picture. The politico piece doesn’t nearly tell the story...and they spelled vicious wrong to boot.

Romney and Perry, of course, have generally been the principle fighters in the most high profile debate battles to date, with Perry hurling 12 verbal punches at Romney since the California debate and Romney dealing 13 of his own against Perry.
The two candidates have each made only two critical remarks against the other six candidates combined throughout the four debates.
It was Perry, however, who started the war when he delivered the first attack of the evening during the California debate at the Ronald Reagan Library, directing the following critique at Romney:
“When he moved that experience to government, he had one of the lowest job creation rates in the country. So the fact is, while he had a good private sector record, his public sector record did not match that. As a matter of fact, we created more jobs in the last three months in Texas than he created in four years in Massachusetts.” Perry, who saw Romney as his main competitor, and Huntsman, who has been trying to tap into Romney’s support in New Hampshire, are responsible for more than three-quarters of the attacks against the former Massachusetts governor.
Perry has his fingerprints on 41 percent of the 29 attacks against Romney, with Huntsman close behind at 34 percent (with 10).
Santorum, Gingrich, and Cain have each criticized Romney two times and Bachmann just once. Congressman Paul has not gone after the former Massachusetts governor in these last four debates.
Romney’s 13 barbs against the Texas governor account for 33 percent of the anti-Perry comments, with every candidate **except Herman Cain** taking credit for at least one attack: Santorum with eight, Bachmann and Huntsman with seven each, Paul with three, and Gingrich with one.
Worth repeating: **except Herman Cain**
Conservatives have a playbook...the media by their attacks tells you who they are most afraid of. This is the man we get behind. RICK PERRY GO PERRY GO!!!
Ping to #17
No one on this site supports Mitt. The whole anti-Perry=pro-Mitt is dead and buried deeply already.
