Nobody asked Perry a vile, untrue question like that. (The only really assholish comment is from Huntsman last debate). They asked him about supporting in-state tuition for illegals (which he does) and then he called conservatives heartless. I mean come on, this was his “attack” on Romney, who is perhaps the most transparently phony conservative ever.
RICK PERRY: I think Americans just don’t know sometimes which Mitt Romney they’re dealing with. Is it the Mitt Romney that was on the side of against the Second Amendment before he was for the Second Amendment? Was it — was before he was before the social programs, from the standpoint of he was for standing up for Roe v. Wade before he was against Roe v. Wade? He was for Race to the Top, he’s for Obamacare, and now he’s against it. I mean, we’ll wait until tomorrow and — and — and see which Mitt Romney we’re really talking to tonight.
No one on this site supports Mitt. The whole anti-Perry=pro-Mitt is dead and buried deeply already.
Do you dump your relatives, spouse, friends if they way ONE word to you that you don’t like, such as “heartless” despite of everything they do for you and all their million good qualities?
No forgiveness, that’s it, get out and never speak to me again, “you are dead to me” — is that your attitude?
Then you go and write a will leaving everything to your worst enemy?
This is what you are doing in politics — dismiss Perry, then let Obama be president and destroy the country completely, just because Perry used the word “heartless” for allowing children of illegals to attend college paying in-state tuition. That’s really logicaL. (/SARC)
Governor Perry communicated perfectly the political animal we have in Romney. “I mean, well wait until tomorrow and and and see which Mitt Romney were really talking to tonight,” says it all.
