"...It probably irks Mitt to have to discuss his faith in this way, but the Mormon debate could be of net benefit to his campaign.
...True, there is a small but significant minority who say they would never vote for a Mormon. According to Gallup, its around 22 percent of the population. But opposition to Mormonism doesnt come from conservative Evangelicals or Catholics. On the contrary, Gallups polls show that its a liberal thing. Only 7 percent of Baptists and Catholics wouldnt vote for a Mormon, compared with 32 percent of gays and 49 percent of atheists. Amusingly, the figure is also much, much higher among Mormons, at 22 percent. Thats right, 22 percent of Mormons would never vote for a Mormon. Perhaps they know something we dont."

Yes, Ma'am!
We DO spread the good word!
The FACTS are that CHRISTIANITY is an Apostate religion, with the very heart ripped out of it.
We MORMONs have the TRUTH, and we'd be GLAD to explain it to you; as we have been very carefully taught.
But it's NOT enough that...
Then again, I have liberal friends who love it to death.
?
And yet MORMONism preaches that this 'good god' let MEN remove precious things from the bible.
I sense a great disturbance in the Force.
ping to above
AN extra?
There are GOBS more MORMON 'scripture' than that!
Here is just a START!
"I have never preached a sermon and sent it out to the children of men, that they cannot call Scripture. Let me have a privilege of correcting a sermon, and it's as good a Scripture as they deserve."
--Brigham Young
If you want to use the Lord as the example for yourself, how much time did He spend spreading the GOOD word vs. hammering the Pharisees? How’s your ratio here? It looks like 0% spreading the good word, 100% hammering the Mormon’s. I think the Lord’s ratio is better.
I’m not quite sure what your problem is with me not going to see a B’way show, lol. Seems like pretty small potatoes to me but if it really gets under your skin so be it.
Now I have an idea: you go buy a $500 ticket and report back to us here at FR. I promise to read your review.
Well this is what the Lord said at the end of the Book of Revalation what not to do.
I'd do 110% if it were possible; but I think that a mere 5% on my part of spreading MORMON scripture, history, teachings and quotes is sufficient.
Exactly reaganaut.....NEVER Mitt...I just won't sign my hand in support of his darkness and what that will do to our country...not going to happen.
I'd do 110% if it were possible; but I think that a mere 5% on my part of spreading MORMON scripture, history, teachings and quotes is sufficient.
My 'problem' is that YOU have gotten conflicting reports from others.
Yet, using some criteria that is not explained; you have chosen one of the reports to be more valid than the other.
My suggestion was that you find out for yourself and NOT listen to others.
If you do not want to; it's no problem to me.
I'll just consider that YOUR opinion of the show is not valid, since you've not seen it and only relied on hearsay to judge it.
I don't think what I would say would affect your already formed opinion.
Well; kinda...
John got his command to write here:
Rev 1:9-119 I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 On the Lords Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, 11 which said: Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.
The "bible" was not compiled into it's present form when John penned Revelation.
He may not have even KNOWN about all the letters that were then circulating in the Christian world that would finally be bound together into the New Testement.
What he DID pen, in chapter 22:18-19 however, was:
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
Notice that it says "THIS scroll" four different times.
Dear, I’m a theatre professional. If you tell me your profession, I promise not to give you advice on how to run your career. So please don’t give me advice on what Broadway shows to see and not to see.
Now this is a silly waste of your time and my time that can be better spent elsewhere.
What if Jew decided to run? If they were a Conservative, I would not care.
Funny all the Christian denominations I know say “Jesus Christ” is the only way.
The only people who go to hell, go their of their own free will.
I said what I was "trying to say".
If it isn't clear to you just go back and re-read my post. Don't set up a straw man and then knock it over.
Why is Bloomberg and the Washington Post sponsering the REPUBLICAN debates.
Are Republicans stupid?
Why would they participate in their enemy’s territories.
This is insane!
You are missing the point.
I gave you no advice on anything other than letting others determine what you are going to think about a subject.
