Next Tuesday, October 11th at 8pm ET, Bloomberg and The Washington Post, in partnership with WBIN-TV and host Dartmouth College, will present the first debate of the 2012 campaign focused solely on the economy.
With the nation facing sustained high unemployment as well as concern over deficits, weak growth and a possible double-dip recession, the Bloomberg/Washington Post debate will devote the entire program to a substantive exploration of the candidates' specific plans for national economic recovery -- in the state that will host the first Presidential primary a few months from now.

When is the Mother Jones/Daily Kos Republican debate? Or the ACORN/SEIU GOP debate? Why not let the DNC and Obama administration host one?
No kidding....
Aren't they the rock people? Should be interesting.
Although, Romney may not mind as he sends pizza to Obama campaign HQ’s. They would probably treat Romney pretty well and they dig his Romneycare.
Aren’t they the rock people?

Yes.
I look at it like letting the democrats pick our candidate, the one on our side that they can most live with, since they can’t ditch Obama. The democrats in control.
This is great news. If someone up on that stage doesn’t attack Cain’s Federal Sales Tax proposal, I’m going to scream. If Perry doesn’t do it, he has no business running for president. Cain’s taking all kinds of shots at Perry. He’s got to fight back and do it on the sales tax. Someone has to demolish Cain’s idiotic tax plan. Please.
Why do Republican candidates keep signing up for debates consisting of gotcha questions from liberal democrats
“Why do Republican candidates keep signing up for debates consisting of gotcha questions from liberal democrats”
It does make you wonder, doesn’t it?
The only reason I can think of is that they need to have the debates televised and the leftist media will only carry it, if they control it.
The Wash comPOST as the “debate” host? Might as well have Eric Holder be the emcee.
Rick will once again show the world that he is a master debater.
A Essay on Mitt Romney. Its damning.
Herman Cain is the only one who has presented a plan. And it’s not yaddayaddayadda. either. It has roots in tax reform that conservatives have been pushing for decades — and which may now have reached the point that the right president can take that reform from the drawing board into reality.
I am very much looking forward to this debate.
I love that all these debates are occurring. These media venues wouldn’t be the least bit interested in doing this except that, this cycle, they know the debates are drawing huge ratings.
That’s a good thing. The Patriots are fully engaged.
This leftist dominance of TV has existed, from the very beginning! What’s new? The questions should be: Where are the finite number of: worldwide conservative TV channels, “truly all neutral, truly all of the time” worldwide channels, worldwide Libertarian channels,...?
Why In Gods Name Is The GOP Consenting to Let a Journolist Member Moderate a Debate? (Oct 11)
No record? Is that so?
You have much to prove. Your mister Perry has a below average proven record. His resume-like Romney, is below average, not unusual for a slick politician.
